Of all the books you have read which has had the best ending?

Well my boy, my favorite book ending is the ending of the novel Grendel, which is a telling of the very old epic poem Beowulf from the perspective of the monster Grendel. It's a pretty depressing ending though.

I love the ending to LOTR (the parting). It is a happy ending but sad at the same time because they have to seperate and go their own ways. I always cry when I read it, it gives me mixed emotions.

I really like the ending to A Walk To Remember too. It doesn't go into detail about what has happened but you just know. It's so sad. I love endings that leave you thinking.

I loved Percy Jackson's series ending. I cried the whole night, because it was so beautifully done. :) And so perfect that I wouldn't come up with a better ending. Sorry, I sound strange... but the books were AWESOME! :D

I think the Mediator Series by Meg Cabot has the best book ending I have ever read, it made me cry and I it takes a lot to make me cry.

I can't say yet because I am waiting for the sequels to come out. :)

The Twilight Saga is one of my favorites but I hated the ending!
