  • Best hotels in Boston?

I'm looking to spend a weekend in Boston for my boyfriends birthday and there are so many hotels to pick from. I'm so nervous I'll pick one that looks good only to find out it's not that great and I could have easily gone with another one. Any suggestions??? When we travel we usually stay at weird cheap places so I wanted something more high end with some wow factor. Nice views, great atmosphere, awesome bar, stuff like that!

  • Help me find a yummy 'on the rocks' drink!!?

I am a very plain person, especially when it comes to drinking. I hate citrus and anything bubbly, which eliminates quite a bit of stuff! Usually when I drink I will have wine or vodka with apple juice/cider. I recently decided to go almost sugar free and was thinking of going out with some friends this weekend. To eliminate the sugar, I thought I could have some liquor on the rocks but I pretty much only know vodkas, I haven't really drank other liquors before. When I look this up online there are thousands of different suggestions so I thought I could come here for some help. What are some good liquors that taste delicious on the rocks? I like simple so nothing with a crazy flavor or anything. I need some suggestions and I'm super excited to see if I get any answers because I really want to enjoy my time out with my friends (and look cool drinking liquor on the rocks!) Thank you!

  • Mac Laptop Recommendations!!?

All you Mac lovers out there listen up!! My boyfriend currently has a PC laptop that takes 20 minutes just to turn on and none of his programs work without crashing and the keyboard lags. Basically I really wanted to get him a new laptop for Christmas and he mentioned that he wanted a Mac because he's really into Apple. I am pretty tech savvy and know a lot about computers but I'm a PC person all the way and have literally never used a Mac. I need some advice on what to get him! He is very laid back when it comes to the computer, usually just goes on the internet. He doesn't use any high powered software and he does not use his computer at all for work. He would purely use it for everyday things and just personal use. I don't want to spend a ton of money and I am open to looking for used/refurbished laptops on ebay or something, but I don't want to get something too used or junky. My question is what model or version of a Mac laptop would be best? Something where cheap and functionality meet in the middle. What do you think?

  • Calculus Help?

I just can't seem to figure out this problem. I think I'm doing it right but I keep getting the wrong answer.

A 160-lb man carries a 30-lb can of paint up a helical staircase that encircles a silo with radius 25 ft. The silo is 60 ft high and the man makes exactly two complete revolutions. Suppose there is a hole in the can of paint and 28 lb of paint leaks steadily out of the can during the man's ascent. How much work is done by the man against gravity in climbing to the top?

So I have to do this problem and I tried it very closely following the instructions in my book but I keep getting the wrong answer. Can someone please help me!

Find the work done by the force field F(x,y,z) = (x-y^2)i + (y-z^2)j + (z-x^2)k on a particle that moves along the line segment from (0,0,1) to (5,1,0). Thank you!
