  • 2 day old tattoo peeling?

I just began my chest piece two days ago. My other tattoos have really began peeling after 4 or 5 days. However, this tattoo scabbed up the next day. I apply non scented moisturizing lotion several times a day, just as my tattoo artist suggests. I'm just concerned with the tattoo healing so fast. It's two days old and I already have flakes coming off. It is heavily shaded with very dark pepper style shading. Is this normal? I am currently on a healthy diet, drinking lots of water.

  • New tattoo burning when putting on lotion?

I have four other tattoos, but today I started my chest piece. This is the first tattoo that I have gotten with a significant amount of shading. The shading is VERY dark and the tattoo is rather large. I have never had this problem with any of my previous tattoos, but when applying non scented moisturizing lotion, as directed by my tattoo artist, I have an extreme burning sensation. Is this normal for a tattoo with lots of shading?

  • extremely sore rook piercing?

yesterday, i went to my normal piercer to have my rook done. the initial pain was bearable and i felt fine as soon as we were done. however, today my piercing is extremely sore. i have my septum and tragus pierced and have had my lip done as well. i also have three tattoos. with a high pain tolerance, i am usually fine with piercings and tattoos. my piercer always suggests cleaning piercings with bactine, but my boyfriend is currently an apprentice at a tattoo shop and advises not to use bactine but soapy water. is this excessive pain normal in rook piercings?

  • Tragus piercing building up crust?

I got both my septum and my tragus done two separate days last week. My body piercer instructed that I use bactine in order to clean both piercings. My septum is healing fine, but my tragus is building up crust, making it almost impossible to rotate and slide back and forth. It is not sore or red, so I am sure it isn't infected. Is there anything I can do to keep it from building up crust like this?

  • five day old tattoo peeling?

I got my tattoo at a very well known, well liked tattoo parlor last Friday. It looks great, hasn't scabbed over, but feels a little rough. I have no redness, and very little itching. Today in the shower, i noticed a little flake on the side of my foot from the tattoo that had come off. Ink colored as it should be, I can't tell where it came off. The color is still vibrant and beautiful. When putting my non-scented aveeno lotion on it, a couple more flakes came off. Is it normal for the tattoo to not look as if it is peeling? I have had several people tell me that it should have already started peeling by now, but I have taken extremely good care of it. Is it heeling slower than normal?

  • only recall one dream throughout entire lifetime?

I am now 18 years old and have only remembered a single dream throughout my entire lifetime. As strange as it is, the only dream that I remember was from being a very small child, a dream in which I made friends with some sort of creature, an alien, I then described it as. I have yet to remember another dream since that time. Is there anyone else that knows of what causes you to not be able to remember dreams or has only remembered one dream?

  • Dog internally injured? ?

I have an 8 pound chihuahua. He actually should be a few pounds less, but he's overweight to say the least. A few days ago, I wrecked on the interstate. I hit the guard rail head on and he was in the passenger seat. I know that the air bag hit him because there wasn't enough time for him to fall in the floor before they deployed. When I got stopped, he was yelping. He stopped when he made his way around the air bag and climbed into my arms. He acted very strange when it first happened and I was extremely concerned that he had been hurt. Within a few minutes, he acted fine and I kept an eye on him for the rest of the day. He seemed fine until today. He has been shivering more than I would think he normally would. Not constant, but he will shake for a second and stop just as he normally would. I may be overreacting, as it is the nature for chihuahuas. Regardless, he has acted very strange in the car for the past two days. Obviously, I know he is scared. But tonight, he was shivering so I wrapped him in a towel while in the car. He began panting. Not as if he were hot, but a strange pant while still shivering. He acted fine while running around but now he is shivering again. I am extremely concerned and am worried that he may have internal injuries. Would that be out of the question?

  • I have a grinding sound in my knee with no pain... Suggestions?

I am only 18 years old, so I am a bit weary on the suggested 'arthritis' suggestions. I know that it is possible but I have experienced no pain at any time with my knee. It happens to only occur in my right knee. As I walk up stairs or stand on only my right leg and crouch on my knee, it creates a very audible cracking sound. However, it makes different sounds as I bend the knee than when straightening it out. When crouching down, it grinds. When standing straight back up, it grinds and seems to pop into place when I have it fully straightened. I do tend to stand with my knees hyper-extended, but as previously stated.. I have never felt any pain. I know that I need to see a doctor, but I would like to hear a few suggestions first. I am very short, tending to sit with my legs crossed, angling under my chair.. I also have shin splints if that is any concern in reasoning.
