  • Miscarriage?

    Last night my girlfriend had some severely bad lower stomach pain, she said she started her period yesterday, but it was a few days early. She also said that when she strained on the toilet, there were reddish/brown clots. Also some nausea. She said that the pains didn't feel like period pains and that something didn't feel right with her body. She has had some type of period every month since we have been sexually active(over 7 months) so we didn't consider her being pregnant. Also she has had alcohol every other weekend or so as normal bc we expected nothing. Could this be signs of anything else besides a miscarriage? Or is there a way to tell?
