I have started a Gofundme (https://www.gofundme.com/3n73j6s4) to raise funds to see my biological family in Chicago. My birth mother has lung cancer and not much long to live. I have lost my job as a truck driver because the state refuses to renew my CDLs. So now I'm broke.

When I created this campaign, I shared it on my twitter and facebook account (quite a few times actually) but surprisingly, nobody has donated.

When I check out other people's campaigns, they seem to raise a lot! Is there something did wrong? It would be a shame if I never get to see the woman who gave birth to me and my siblings.

Last June I went to a truck driving school in Indiana and earned my CDLs. Immediately after, I got a job as an OTR (over the road) truck driver. When September rolled around, circumstances lead to my CDLs becoming expired. I figured that I would just have to pay a late fee.

But the Ohio BMV tells me I either have to renew the CDLs in Indiana to switch them over or start all over as if I never had even a regular driver license. And because I am an Ohio resident, Indiana refuse to renew the CDLs so I could switch over to an Ohio CDL.

Seeing how I lost my CDLs, I also lost my job and now I owe the company $6,000 for putting me through the school and not staying with them for a year.

Does anyone know how I can get my CDLs back, or who I should contact about the situation? I should not have to work for something that I've already earned! Also, is there a way I can take legal action?

Backstory- running from villagers that accused her of being a witch in 1511AD, she decides to put herself in a cryogenic force field to avoid execution. 500 years later in 2011 Avalon City USA, the force field weakens, and she is released. She finds herself in a strange new world with automatic rolling carriages and flying metal machines, after finding out what date it is, she decides to try and make a new life here. She digs around and eventually ends up enrolling in a college and getting a job. She even moves in with a roommate. Eventually she gets tired of the boring daily routine. One day she's watching tv and sees a car chase, she is astonished at how fun it looks. After watching "caught on tape" tv shows for two days straight, she decides that she wants to live the life of crime, and with her powers, she would be unstoppable. The year is now 2013 and the FB hasI caught on. Knowing that they are up against a supernatural criminal, the create a special task force to catch her. She soon finds out that there are more like her in this world, and she is unsure and worried about what their intentions are. This first series of the manga will focus on her adventures. The second series will focus on her past and the last will focus on the present/future. There may also be appearances by my other original character Lindsey. Lindsey is an archangel. There will be a lot of supernatural characters in this series to make it more epic.

Lindsey is an average looking, brown haired girl who has demon powers and Kiki is your usual sexy popular cheerleader.

So here is how this scene starts out.

KiKi the most popular girl in school has always picked on Lindsey, now it's time for payback. Kiki stayed after school for cheerleading practice when everyone else has gone home. All of the other cheerleaders were already outside on the football field. Kiki leaves the ladies room to find Lindsey leaning on the wall with an evil grin on her face. "Oh, it's just you...what do you want?" Kiki grunts. Lindsey just stares at Kiki still smiling. "Move it along before I punch you in in mouth, *****!" Kiki now aggravated walks toward Lindsey. Kiki raises her fist to throw a punch, but Lindsey grabs her hands and forces her to the floor. "Get off of me!" Kiki commands. Lindsey starts to open her mouth as her fangs become apparent. Kiki now scared for her life and shivering in fear. "Oh Kiki, now that I've got you, what should I do with you?" Lindsey says in an ominous voice. Kiki screams for help, but it is no use, they are the only ones there. Lindsey opens her mouth a little more to reveal her abnormally large tongue. Dripping saliva as Lindsey moves closer and closer, she then....

I hope you guys like my story telling, but what do you think will happen next? Based on what kind of answers I get, I'll put the best answer as the outcome, thank you for reading.

People on deviantart are nice, however they rarely leave feedback. So I would like to know from everyone else, what should happen next in this scene. Character Description

Name: Lindsey Pollastri

Age: 17

Race: Italian, Fallen Angel

Religion: Atheist

Parents: Lucy and Don Pollastri

Faction: Heaven and Hell

Enemy Faction: Viceversa

Background: Lindsey’s father (Don) was the head of a mafia family, but gets assassinated by another mafia family. Due to his evil lifestyle, Don is sent to Hell. While in Hell, Don uses his charm to gain acceptance into the Royals of Hell. Now, anyone in this society has very powerful connects and Don takes a huge advantage of this. Don’s first move is to get the approval from the head of Hell, to get a Black Magic Grant for his daughter. What this will do is give her super-human powers. He loves Lindsey, so he is doing this because he thinks that Lindsey is defenseless on Earth all by herself (her mother was actually killed years ago by Don in an argument, thus making Lindsey an orphan.)

About the Black Magic Grant: This power is only obtainable to the royals (and their families) of Hell. Usually, the power can only be given to dead people, but the Devil was so pleased with Don’s evil actions in life, that he does a favor for Don and bends the rules (after all he is the head of Hell.)

Meanwhile: Lindsey is mourning the death of her father. Vowing that she will find out who did this and make them pay. That night she is visited by a demon to bring her (and inform her of) her new powers. (The demon informs her that because she is not dead and therefore has not been judged yet, she will not be a demon. Instead, she will be turned into an Archangel (a fallen angel.) Nonetheless, she accepts her new powers.) A couple of days pass and when she returns to school, she notices a new face. Eventually, this new guy talks to Lindsey and asks her on a date, she accepts and the two hit it off. After a few dates, Jimmy (the guy) decides that it would be a great idea to introduce her to his parents. So he does. However, she soon finds out that his father is the head of a mafia, a mafia that did not get along with her father’s family.

Lindsey eventually finds proof that Jimmy’s dad was responsible for her father’s death. When she finds out, she asks Jimmy to do her a favor, and that is to kill his own father. He has no intention of doing that, but tells her that he’ll sleep on it.

Back in Hell, Don has a meeting with the devil about his daughter. In which the devil agrees to let Lindsey visit him there for a day. The devil sent a demon to give her the invite. She’s nervous, but for the love of her father, she accepts the invite. She goes to meet her father and is thrilled to see him. While she is there the devil asks a favor of her, he wants her to spread the powers among her friends (this will corrupt their souls and they will turn evil.) She accepts on the condition that she can go to Hell anytime she wants to visit her dad. The devil accepts and with that a deal is made. She then returns to Earth, and the next day she goes to school. She meets up with her friend Samantha and pulls her aside. She tells her all that has happened and offers her the Black Magic Grant. Her friend (not believing her) sarcastically accepts the power and Lindsey gives it to her.

Lindsey sees Jimmy and asks him if he killed his father yet. He replies that he is scared to get caught. She then tells him of her powers and shows him a demonstration of hers. She tells him that she will give him the powers to use to kill his father and then they can be together. He agrees, and then she gives him the powers. The angels think that something is not right and sends scout angels down to Earth to investigate. The scout angels follow Lindsey until a few days later; Jimmy tells her that he can’t go through with it. Furious, Lindsey prepares to kill Jimmy until the scout angels reveal themselves. With Lindsey thinking they are witnesses (instead of angels) she gets ready to chase them, just before she starts chasing them she tells Jimmy that she is going to kill his father herself (and maybe kill him.) The scout angels successfully escape Lindsey and report back to Heaven. The Angels then decide that they have to rid the new race of fallen angels before this gets out of hand. END PART ONE.

I have a 3rd generation iPod touch with the in-ear ear buds (yeah the expensive ones). I had them for a long time now, but a few moments ago while lying on my couch under a blanket I was listening to it and when I took my ear buds out of my ear, I got shocked, it was 2 zaps (it felt like the whole"rub yours socks on the carpet" type shock) what do you think triggered this so I can avoid it from happening again. Thank you.

p.s. I had only been listening to my iPod for a few minutes before this happened.

I don't know who made it, but it sounds like a group rather than one person singing it. There are guys singing it, and the beat is medium pace. I really just like the beat to it. The main chorus goes "and we can go...all night" and "I wanna go...all night" Does anyone know the name of this song?

CHAPTER ONE

High school is a place for learning, making new friends, finding love, and ultimately… a place for making lifelong enemies. Earlier this month, I started school, a school with a campus as big as a city. I would be actually living on this campus for an entire year. This gave me a fresh new start in my school life. At my last school, I was an outcast, a loser and on top of that, my grades were slipping while I was focusing on getting popular. I thought this school would be different, and that I’d be happy, maybe I’d be popular, and maybe my grades would be perfect. I never thought I could go further than that.

The first day of school, as my parents were driving along the road, I noticed that the walls surrounding the campus were at least a mile long, and there were tall trees on the other side. “So, how does my little girl feel about going to a new school?” my mother asked. “It’s not about going there, it’s about coming home” I said still starring out at that ten foot high brick wall. “Well Jessica, this is your last year of school before you start college, so enjoy it while it lasts” my father said concentrating on the road. We had driven all the way from San Diego to Fairfield, Ohio for this school. When I asked my parents why we couldn’t just fly here, they said that we could not afford an airplane ticket, or three tickets for that matter. They also said it would be the last “family time” we had for awhile.

The sky was gloomy grey, and as the car got closer to the entrance gate, it got darker. “I am going to miss my little Jessy so much” mom said as she wiped her tears away. “Oh mom, don’t cry it’ll be okay.” I said assuring. “Well we’re here, Hillcrest Academy!” dad said in excitement. As we pulled up to the two large gate doors and next to the call box, a voice came on the speaker “Welcome to Hillcrest Academy, what is the nature of your visit?” the guy said as if he just woke up. “I come to drop off my daughter” dad said. As the large gates started to open slowly, dad turned to me “Now I know you’re going to do well, I can just feel it. Getting into this school is like getting into the White House, and that’s a sign from above.” He continued “We’re just trying to give you what we never had, a good education” he said with a warm smile.

When those gates opened, there was a road winding through tall trees. That’s when I realized that the campus was not only surrounded by walls, but there was also a large forest surrounding it too. As my father started to follow the road, I noticed animals in the forest. That’s when an oncoming school bus passed us. The people on the inside appeared to be football players. I made eye contact with one of them. As we starred at each other, time seem to have slowed down. His caramel skin, his ocean blue eyes and his slick black hair. If all the guys at this place are this cute, then this place can’t be that bad I thought to myself. Then another bus passed, this time, there were cheerleaders on there. As I looked at their faces, one of them stuck out.

That face belongs to Asia Love. I was sure that was her on that bus. But, why is she here? I thought to myself. If she’s here then trouble is here too. As I took my focus off of the bus and onto the sight ahead, I totally forgot all about Asia. This forest turned into…a city. I could not believe this place was just a campus. There were houses, apartments, stores, cars, and people walking around. There were even sky scrapers in the distance. “Wow, this place is…..fantastic!” mom said in amazement. Mom pulled out some papers. “Honey, it says here to go to Quill Avenue, that’s where the auditorium is.” She informed my father. It literally took 22 minutes to get there. Dad parked the car and got out stretching. “So, how do you like it so far?” mom asked turning to me. “I love it.” I said. “That’s great Jessica, I’m glad you like it” she said as she stepped out of the car. I opened the car door and took my first step onto the moist campus ground.

The rest of the chapter couldn't fit, but the principal gives some of the rules and introduces the head of security. then she gets her dorm address and schedule. so she gets it and meets a boy named Lance who might be related to the boy she saw on the bus earlier. then she says bye to her parents and get on the bus with Lance.

THE STORY IS ABOUT A MIDDLE CLASS GIRL WHO STARTS A NEW SCHOOL THAT IS HUGE. WHILE THERE SHE MAKES NEW FRIENDS AND NEW ENEMIES. SHE ALSO ENDS UP IN A BIG LOVE TRIANGLE. MEANWHILE THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT OVERTHROWS THE PRINCIPAL AND HIS SECURITY TEAM.

WILL THE LOVE TRIANGLE BE RESOLVED?

WILL THE PRINCIPAL TAKE THE SCHOOL BACK?

Below is a book i'm working on. I would like opinions on the beginning I wrote so far. Criticism is welcome.

CHAPTER 1

THE GIRL FROM NOWHERE

As she exited the private jet onto the tarmac, Clara Dawson is blown gently by the cool Cleveland air. The clouds start to darken as if it’s going to rain. Her black boots matched her black painted fingernails and her black leather jacket and shorts with her purple T-shirt. Her pale white skin is shivering from the cold breeze. She is followed by a woman in everyday clothes, but this woman is Lola, Clara’s maid. “Wow I never would have thought that Cleveland is this cold!” Lola says with a surprised look. “Are you sure there is nowhere else you would like to start your new life?” Lola asks. Clara shakes her head no and continues toward the terminal. Although she isn’t gothic, she has a dark and lonely personality. She has no brothers or sisters, not even parents for that matter.

Clara holds a deep secret with a dark past unlike any other seventeen year old girl. Here in Cleveland, she hopes to at least create a bright future for herself. Clara finds in the terminal awaiting her arrival a limo driver holding her name up on a large board. “My luggage is right there” Clara Says pointing at a lot of bags for just two people. Clara then gets in the limousine, followed by Lola. “So, what do you think of this place so far?” Lola asks Clara. “It’s just like I remember it….sort of” Clara says looking out of the tinted window. “You picked a good place in the area, and the most expensive” Lola says opening up a magazine. “Well don’t get too comfortable, you’re still my maid and you have to do everything I say” Clara says in a blank tone. “Even if you did save me from that fire” she adds. “Well now that you’re the only one left, at least it won’t be a lot of work on my part” Lola says with a grin. “You think that’s a good thing? That I’m the only one left?!” Clara explodes. “Of course I don’t, why would you think anything like that?” Lola asks. “Just don’t talk right now….” Clara says with a piercing look on her face. The limo driver gets in the driver’s seat from loading the trunk and drives off to Clara’s new home.

The story is about a 17 year old girl (and her maid) who both survived a house fire that killed her parents and her brother. so she moves to a big city to start a new life. With the insurance and inheritance her parents left her, it should not be that hard. She starts a new school life at a local high school and makes new friends. While the book will switch between to her friends and their problems in every other chapter, the main protagonist is still Clara. As twist and turns arise, you'll be shocked at the events that occur in this drama.

So what do you like/dislike about it so far and what would you change about it? Thanks.

SPOILER ALERT: the fire that kills her family is no coincidence.....

My friend and I got into a debate about something interesting.

I say "A thought cannot be wrong until it becomes an action. Therefore, when it does happen, it is considered wrong by the public. For example if i thought of committing murder (which i'm not) would it be wrong if it has not yet happen, for it is just a thought?"

He says "it goes against all morals in our world, even if it is just a thought.

i have a 3rd generation ipod touch. lately, i would play my music and randomly it stops, everything stays on the screen except the volume scroll. most of the time i have to take my ear buds out and plug them back in for it to start playing again. this occurs anytime (in the music section, on the internet, on apps, or just playing music with the screen off. this started about a week ago. any suggestions? thank you in advance.

I started on this story and am stuck on what should happen next, any bright ideas on what I should change, or take out. I put this on answers before, but did not get a lot of advice, and thank you to the people who did.

The beginning:

Aaron wakes up one morning to find his mother (who is single) very sick, she tells him that her life is not as important as his and convinces him that she will be ok, and to go on to school. On the way to school while sitting on the bus, Aaron sees an image outside the window. He sees a pale green man. He blinks his eyes repeatedly, and gets a hold of himself. He finally makes it to Westwood high where he is a senior. There he spots his best friend Otto Smith. As they talk he tells him about his mother and the green man he had seen earlier. Otto tells him that his mother will be ok and the “he is trippin.” The school day ends as they are let out, as he is talking to Otto in downtown Bedford, his girlfriend (Lexus) sneaks up on him and gives him a hug. (She goes to a nearby school) and is happy to see him. As they start talking, Aaron spots in his side-vision the pale green man again and panics he tells Lexus that he’ll call her later and runs off leaving Otto and Lexus behind.

When he gets home, he finds that his mother’s illness has grown worse. He wakes up the next morning with the ambulance in front of his house, his mom tells him that she trusts him with the house until, or even if she gets back from the emergency room. He gets ready for school and leaves. While on the bus he keeps his eyes close so he doesn’t see any more illusions. Once again he is at school. He talks to Otto as usual. When school ends they walk to the bus stop in downtown square. He spots this girl that he always liked named Alexandria. He talks to her, her boyfriend recently died in a fire, but they managed to have a great conversation and somehow Aaron feels better, he realizes that his girlfriend Lexus is walking towards them with a mad look. When she gets to them she starts to yell at Alexandria who then shakes her head and tells him “I’ll talk to you later.” Aaron then yells at Lexus and walks off.

Later that night, Aaron invites Alexandria to his house to apologize and things start to get intimate, they kiss, and Alexandria then regretfully storms off crying. The next day after school, Aaron is telling Otto about what happened and Lexus sneaking up behind him hears it too, instead of a hug, she slaps the back of his head, and yells at him. As she walks away (yelling) Aaron follows and tries to explain. Both unaware that they are in the middle of a busy downtown street, a public bus going about 35 mph honks its horn Aaron quickly reacts and throws Lexus on the side walk. As for poor Aaron, everything goes white……

The middle: as Aaron awakes he notices he is surrounded by three large gates, behind him is a seemingly never-ending land with people walking around. At that moment someone appears from a cloud of dust….Dillon. As Dillon gets up and dusts himself off he notices Aaron standing there, Dillon asks where he is and “who are you?” Aaron tells him what he remembers and Dillon tells Aaron that the last thing he remembers was sitting in a car with his friend and ended up….here. So they decide to stick together as long as they are in this strange world. The leave the three gates and start to explore this awkward universe.

Before long they come to this long line Dillon taps the girl in front of him. This girl is Shyla. Dillon and Aaron talks to her to try and get some answers, but even she has no clue as to where they are, the last thing she remembers is asking a bus driver if she is on the right route. She explains that she is creeped out by this “spooky” place, and that Aaron and Dillon are the only two “living” people here. So they figure that, if nobody else around is “living” they will just cut to the front of the line to see what is happening. When they get to the front of the line, their awaits a tall, pale-green man with a beard calling out names, their actions, and their place of after-life. “Ah…..Aaron…..Dillon…….and sweet little Shyla….I’ve been waiting for you three.

Aaron asks the man who he is and where they are. The man tells them his name is Osiris, and that they are in Purgatory. He goes on to tell them that this place is a neutral for souls that sinned enough to be rejected from Heaven, but did not sin enough to enter Hell. He also explains the three large gates where they arrived is the center of Purgatory and the three gates represent Heaven, Earth and Hell.

I started on this story and am stuck on what should happen next, any bright ideas on what I should change, or take out. Also, what publisher do you think would suit this book? thank you

I play yu-gi-oh, But my work schedule is on saturdays, the local tournaments and the Columbus regional are also on saturdays. My boss is not the easy kind, what can I say that will ensure me, free saturdays?

I was so close to signing up for the Air Force but people have been telling me that 1. I need to be able to swim and 2. I need to know algebra, I am willing to proceed as long as these aren't true, and if they are the what should I do.

p.s. my true dream is to become a screenplay writer, but I was told to check in to Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. I did and there are benefits, but swimming and algebra are two problems that I can't solve. I don't even know how I passes algebra in high school

"First off, they need to expand their service providers as far as phones. AT&T is for the rich, I wanted to purchase the new I Phone, but they wanted a $500.00 deposit because I had no "credit history" so I settled for an Ipod Touch.They need to try budget companies that the mid-class can buy, like Revol.

With that said, they also need to step up their advertisement, because I had bought the Ipod touch (32 gb) last month, and then today, I find out that there is a new one with a camera, if I had known about this, I would have waited.

Now I am not sure what to do, I'm not even sure if I'll ever buy anything from Apple ever again."

These are the complaints I wish to tell apple ( and I wish I could tell Steve Jobs himself) however, on their website there is no where to make complaints, and the phone numbers they supply are for tech support. Is there a way that I can get through to that important person and get some response? Apple needs to upgrade. If they keep messing up, I won't have a problem switching to Zune........

1. Before I start on my first movie script, I would like the power of the voice of the people. I already know that I want to make a comedy or a drama or a mix of the two. However, I would like to hear ideas for plots and settings where my story can take place and what it will be about

2. I've checked the major movie network's websites and there are NO signs of writing positions (not as in "they are not hiring" but as if the writing positions are with isolated companies) long story short, where can I mail/turn in my scripts to get them sold to a company like Sony Pictures or Universal Pictures?

On the movie Fantastic 4, its the song in the montage when they are all living together, and in the movie Sex Drive, its in the first moment of the scene when they are at the carnival. I don't know the name of it, so can you please give me the name and artist, thank you in advance.

It's this girl that works at my local Walgreen. Every time she sees me, she smiles at me, and sometimes she makes conversation (she does this to nobody else) today is the first day I've seen her since 2009 literally, and she smiled at me today, I wanted to talk to her, but there were people behind me so I went on. I promised myself that I will go back there and try this time, but how should I do it, I don't want to get her fired or anything. The only thing I know about her is that she is in college.....and I'm an 18 year old senior in high school, and with that said, I might be able to take her to my prom if I get her. so what should I do? thank you in advance.

p.s. I don't know her work schedule, so it will be real hard to find her.

p.p.s. how should we exchange numbers if she is behind the counter?
