  • What is better for fixing my credit?

I have two student loans around $1700 total that I have not been making payments on. I have an IRA with about $1500 in it from a company that I no longer work for. I am wondering if I would be better off cashing out the IRA and paying off my student loans (I could come up with the extra money needed), or if it would be better for improving my credit if I start getting back on track making my monthly payments.

  • How many jumbo cupcakes does one cake mix make?

I'm making big cupcakes for my daughters birthday party on Thursday, and am going to be using these cupcake pans http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/188-2542007-5...

I will probably fill them half full because I don't want a big muffin top so I can decorate them with frosting. So I am just wondering how many mixes I will need to make about 30 cupcakes.

  • Media Center Freezes when trying to update guide?

I am running Media Center in Windows XP. Everything was working fine just a few days ago, last night I noticed that one of the programs that was supposed to record didn't record. So today l opened Media Center it said my Guide was going to expire in 3 days and asked it I wanted to update it, I said yes and it didn't seem to do anything. Then when I would try to do anything else in Media Center it would freeze. I have to ctrl alt del and end task on it to be able to use my computer. It doesn't say that Media Center is not responding until I choose end task. Everything else in Media Center seems to be working fine though, I can watch previously recorded TV and live TV. Of course I can't set up shows to record though without the guide. When I open the guide it says Data Not Available. Also it seems that after I end task on the program and open it again, it freezes up even when I go to My TV.

    So far I have tried:

    Restarted Computer

Updated XP to Service Pack 3

    Ran the automatic Windows Updates

Resetting up the TV signal on Media Center, then it goes through setting up the guide again. It works until I get to the point where it chooses which service provider I am using, then it locks up the program.

Uninstalled a program that I installed since the last time it was working

Not sure what elese to try, anyone have this issue and/or know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

  • Help me figure out what Nintendo game this was?

    Here is what I remember...

You walked around to the areas where you played, there were dome shaped worlds that when you walked to them you entered and played that world. I remember a world made of ice and a world made of glass as well as other worlds. Also, I remember the worlds would disappear and reappear, so you had to be there at the right time to play certain worlds. It was probably 15-20 years ago, so I think it would have been Nintendo or Super NES.

  • Trying to remember the name of this Nintendo game.?

I am pretty sure it was either Nintendo or Super Nintendo. It was a game I played at a friends house, so I am not 100% sure of the system it was on. Here is what I can remember...

You had your guy walking around to play different worlds, one of the worlds was made of glass, another of ice. They were dome shaped. That is pretty much all I can remember.

    Thanks!

  • Trying to find a particular solitaire game?

I have no idea what it is called, just know how to play with real cards...

I lay out four piles vertically with four cards in each pile, then lay down one card face up next to the top pile. I play the same suit in that row and play the same # from the first row in the other three rows. Once I get a card on the first row I can lay it in the next row...

Anyone know the name of that game?

  • Help printing labels?

I have been trying to print labels on a smaller Avery label sheet. I printed two boxes of the labels then all of a sudden after making no changes to my document the labels are now printing too far down and not onto the label. I am using the envelope feeder on my printer as the instruction said. I will once in a while get a good one, and think it is working and then it prints 4 bad ones in a row. And before when it was working good I would maybe get one bad on after doing about 100 sheets.

I have tried to reboot my computer, and pull the printer cartridges out and have them realigned, and nothing I do seems to work. I even tried a new box of labels thinking maybe it was a bad batch.

    Thanks!

  • Are magnets harmful to babies and children?

I am wondering specifically about magnetic jewelry. I know they are harmful if swallowed, but this is a necklace and made very well and will not break and is too big to be swallowed, so is it ok?

  • I want to get a handheld computer, which one should I get?

I basically want it for going online, IM, and the word processor. It has to support Java, and other newer browser options. I want to be able to add a wireless card so I can use it with my wireless internet at home. I would also like it to play mp3's. I'm hoping to find it for under $200 on eBay. I have looked into the HP Jornada 728, anyone have thoughts on that one?

  • Do you think they should give us our money back?

I purchased a ring on 5/5/06 at X Jewelers.Order total $1750.74 incl. tax.Gave fiance ring 7/2/06. 2 weeks later first problem, the prongs on the crown were crooked and the side stones were loose, The ring was sent out and given back a week later. A couple weeks later side stones were loose. She brought the ring back to the X. X called to notify her that they thought the setting was bad and they wanted to replace the setting with a new one which she agreed to. Ring came back in it had the same problems. We were given the option of ordering a new setting of the same style or choosing a different style. We asked at that time if we could get just return the whole thing considering the problems, but they said we were past their 90 day return policy (which we were only past the 90 days because they had the ring in for repairs). After finding out it would take a month to get the new ring in the same style we decided to choose a new style. We placed the order for the new ring on 9/11/06 ...

  • My dog eats his food so fast, is that ok, or is it unhealthy for him, if so what can we do?

We give him 1 cup of food 2 times a day. We have him trained to sit and wait to go to the food until we say go, and as soon as we say go, he has that food gone in 2 seconds, I am sure he doesn't even really chew it, he just inhales it. If we try to take the food away to slow him down he trys to eat faster. It's like he thinks if he doesn't eat it fast it won't be there. We got him when he was 7 weeks old, and he has never had issues with other pets trying to eat his food if he didn't eat it fast. So I am not sure why he would do that. He is 8 months old.

  • What does Swiss Chard taste like?

I am trying to lose weight and need to get in my veggies, I don't really like a lot of veggies and am getting bored with carrots, celery, cucumbers and tomatoes. I have thought about trying swiss chard, I saw some recipes for it, and the recipes sound yummy. My only concern is that the flavor of the swiss chard is going to be bad. I thought it seemed to be like beets when I smelled it one time at the grocery store, basically I just want to know if that was the veggie that tastes like beets?

Also, do you eat the stalk at all? Or just the leaves?

  • Want to know what a good price is to fly from Minneapolis to Cancun.?

I am planning to go to Cancun with my fiance sometime this winter. I would like to know what to expect to pay for airline tickets. Is there a better time to go there to get better prices? Also, would it be cheaper to fly somewhere else first and go to Cancun from there? Is it better to buy tickets early or wait until closer to the time to get better prices? Basically I want to get an idea of what price I should be watching for.

    Thanks!

  • I want to have a breast reduction and also am in the process of losing weight, should I lose the weight first?

I started losing weight a couple months ago and so far of lost 20 lbs, and want to lose 30 or more lbs. Does anyone know if I should wait to have the reduction.

I have a couple reasons why I would like to have it before I am finished losing my weight. One I am getting married Aug. of next year, and it would be nice if I am going to do it, to have it done before the wedding. At this point I have enough time to heal before the wedding. The other reason is that I have a $1200 deductable on my insurance and I have used it this year, so it would be nice to have it done this year so I don't have to pay the 1200 if I don't end up needing to use that all next year.

    Let me know your thoughts.

I am a 42DD (possibly DDD) and would like to go to a C.
