  • What is the best website to share photos with my wedding guests?

I'm getting married and want to know of a website I can use where I can share photos with my guests and also where they can post the photos they take at the wedding. Somewhere that has free uploads and downloads, and preferably somewhere where the guests won't have to create a login and can just post pictures as a guest.

  • Help with my Statistics Homework?

    30. There are 5% defective parts manufactured by your production line and you would like to find these before they are shipped. A quick and inexpensive inspection method has been devised that identifies 8% of parts as defective. Of parts identified as defective, 50% are truly defective.

    a. Find the probability that a defective part will be identified (i.e. the conditional probability of being identified given that the part was defective).

    b. Find the probability that a part is defective or is identified as being defective.

    c. Are the events “identified” and “defective” independent? How do you know?

    d. Could an inspection method be useful if the events “identified” and defective” were independent? Please explain.

So the answers I've gotten so far are:

    a. 80%

    b. 90%

Am I on the right track so far?

    22. You’ve just put in a bid for a large communication network. According to your best information you figure there is a 35% chance that your competitors will outbid you. If they do outbid you, you figure you still have a 10% chance of getting the contract by successfully suing them. However, if you outbid them, there s a 5% chance you will lose the contract as a result of their suing you.

    a. Find the probability that you will be awarded the contract

    b. Find the probability that you will outbid them and be awarded the contract

    c. Find the conditional probability that you will outbid them given that you are awarded the contract

    d. Are the events “you were not awarded the contract” and “you outbid the competition” mutually exclusive? Why or why not?

    The answers I got were

    a. 65.25%

    b. 61.75%

    c. 94.64%

I'm new to statistics and I'm not sure if I'm doing these right so can someone please check my answers and if I'm right or wrong can you explain why?

Thanks so much for the help!

I'm young and still learning about all this so if you could please explain in idiot terms I would really appreciate it.

  • Does paypal automatically transfer your money into your bank account? If so, when?

I recently sold some stuff on ebay and received a large amount of money that is now in my paypal account. I would prefer it to just stay in my paypal account and not be transfered to my bank account (which is connected to my paypal account). Does paypal automatically transfer the money at the end of the month or something? Or do you have to request it be transfered?
