Please help me identify the ants in my shed. They are red with black abdomens and are a little bit smaller than black carpenter ants. they seem to be picking up all the little things (debris, paper wood, etc.) and makeing a pile out of it insdie the shed.

They are usually about four-five feet high and only have one "trunk" and bunch of branches, leaves and roses on top. I know a little bit aobut roses but I'm not sure what kind of rose to start with and how to train it into the tree shape.

And, how did you make it (if not obvious).

For example, for me it is either drinking abeer during a game at Fenway Park or watching my kids discover somehting new.
