  • First time mother in need of nonjudgemental advice about a 4 month old baby!?

My baby seems to be addicted to the bottle. Ever since I had to quit breastfeeding (low supply) she took to the bottle quite well. Too well I guess b/c the dr is telling me I need to watch her weight and that I shouldnt start her on solids or juice bc of it! She is in the 75th percentile which means absolutely nothing to me. She's happy and healthy. She takes a 6 oz bottle every 2 hrs and recently Ive been charting and have tried for every 2 and half 3 hrs. At night when she was 3 months old she was sleeping 8 to 9 hrs straight for about 2 weeks. Now we are back to waking up maybe 3 times a night for a bottle and nothing and I mean NOTHING will calm her down and put her back to sleep unless its a bottle. The dr makes me feel horrible and tells me that I need to find other ways to occupy my child. That hurts bc she is a very active little girl and we play all day! I feel she is regressing in this bottle episode and have no idea what to do. As I said she takes 6 oz bottles at a time and now trying to space her feedings out is more difficult. I want to demand feed but the dr says its time to schedule feed and its killing me. What could be going on this past month with her?
