  • My Mom passed about 5 months ago?

My sister and some of my other family members have become estranged. My sister gave a very close family friend (who was also my best friend) my mother s blanket that the funeral home had made with a pic of my Mom and the date of her birth and death on it. My sister did not even ask if me or my brother wanted it. The close friend made a mistake I believe, in telling my brother she had it. I feel betrayed and hurt by my sister and my best friend. Who is wrong and what should I do?

  • Why do all the close female friends that I have always wind up stabbing me in the back?

I am a very loyal friend and do nothing to hurt anyone feelings. Its seems the nicer I am to people the worse they treat me including some family. I only have one friend that I can really say is a friend. And I recently found out that she betrayed a confidence a while back. But she is still a good friend. I don't know what to do. I mostly just stay to myself and my kids.

  • Is it normal to be a loner?

At this time in my life I don't have a best friend that I hang out with or go places with. In my experience my closest friends were the ones who always stabbed me in my back. And some of those people were family...I now have trust issues and I try not to get too close to anyone. God and my children are my best friends.

  • I have a friend who is acting jealous because I moved?

It's been almost a year now since I moved and every time that I talk to her on the phone she makes snide remarks about my house and accuse me of saying nasty things to her during previous conversations that we've had..all which are not true. One of things that she said was: "Let me ask you something...Why did you go and get that big house, like that?" So I said what do you mean...and then she started stuttering and said I mean ain't it too much for you. So I said "No I love it and I needed the space...because my children are getting older and need their own space. But she brags that she used to live in big houses. So what is the problem....even after a almost a year...she is still making nasty remarks about the house. What should I do.should I cut her off or just wait and see if she will get over it once she moves. Which she said her husband said they would...but that was only after I moved. So she kept bugging him about moving. And oh, by the way, she has never been to my house and she did not even attend my housewarming party and before I moved we were close friends. And I also think that she may be angry because I stopped drinking also...Have a little over 2 years sober. Serious responses only. Thank you.

  • If I have a 4 bedroom section 8 voucher?

Can I still be approved for a 5 bedroom house? I already found a 5 bedroom house and me and the landlord already filled out the Family/Leasing packet. I plan to use one of the bedrooms as a computer room and library.

She says that she is happy for me, but EVERY time we talk she says that she's "not hating" and

"well at least you are moving". And it's not like we are not going to be friends anymore and we are very good friends to each other..I will still be living in the city....she lives down the street from me. What should I make of this?
