We recently looked at a mobile home, and after debating, we decided we were interested in the home. We put 100 down on the security deposit, and the landlord told us it would be two weeks before the place was available. I have a reciept stating that the 100 is part of a security deposit. The lease has not been drawn up yet, and yesterday we were informed the place was ready. Yesterday evening, we found a place we were more interested in, and now the landlord refuses to give us the 100 back. Is there a law against this, and would it be worth it to file a civil suit if so?
