  • Why are there no discounts for October room rates?

    I'm planning a trip to Vegas for my 30th b-day from Oct. 16-20, and am having no luck finding a decent deal. I've signed all the online guestbooks, so I get the current rates when they are available. I'm looking at discounted rates for August, September, November, and December, but nothing for October. Is it too early for them? Any help would be appreciated. I was looking to stay on the strip, possibly Bally's, Harrah's, MGM, Luxor, or Excalibur. Thanks in advance.

  • Wireless internet/router help?

    First, the important information:

    ISP: AT&T

    Modem: Speedstream 5150

    Router: D-Link DI-524

    OS: Windows XP Home Edition

    Ok, here is my problem. I can get the internet to work if I wire it to my tower or laptop directly (don't use the router), but when I hook up the router, I lose network connection. Basically, when I run the DSL line from the modem to the router, the signal gets blocked. The router doesn't broadcast a wireless internet signal, and the hard line from the router to the PC (tower or laptop) doesn't give an internet signal. Can anyone help me here?
