I am a student of 1st year MBBS.

I find it difficult to memorize all the things in subjects. do all the students feel the same when they first join the medical college?Though i got a very good rank in ug entrance test I find it difficult to remember all the terminologies.It may be because the ug entrance are based on problem solving and medical science wholly stands on memory and I had a very good ability in solving problems.Sometimes I undergo depression because students who were thousands of ranks below me get good marks and I get less than them.Can anyone suggest me how to be mentally confident in medical college and score well?and also how to make up time for all subjects&rewise because I tend to forget what I read in 15 days. I can not remember small points(eg.plasma concentration of certain minerals,confusion in branches of arteries,names of enzymes etc).I think my problem is in memorization and can anyone suggest how can i improve memorization? please help me.
