There are chat rooms that are categorized as being for Americans, but I still get bombarded by IMs from Pakistanians, Indians, Nigerians, etc. (those are the top 3, anyway). If these people grew up in the US, then it's fine, but otherwise I find it very difficult to have a conversation with them. I've tried but I guess the cultures are just too different (for me), because when I start chatting with someone from another country, I find myself having to explain too much. After having dozens of these conversations, I started asking where they're from right away and ignoring them if it's not Britain, Canada, Australia, or the US. I feel so mean!

But, aren't there versions of Yahoo for different countries? Like, a "Yahoo UK", for example? If there are, is there one for the US?

Anyway if you know of one that's out there that I haven't found, let me know. Thank you, folks.

Where can I find out if there were any car accidents last night or early this morning in a large area? I've found places to see if there were any today and in very specific areas, but not for previous days. My friend left San Francisco last night to drive here to West Los Angeles. I last heard from him at 10:30 last night and he said he was on his way but I don't know if he'd just left or what... whenever he left, he should be here by now but he's not and he's not answering his phone. I know I could call every hospital between San Fran and here but that's a lot of ground to cover, same goes for highway patrol.

So, between 10:30 last night and I guess anytime this morning, between San Francisco and Los Angeles. How can I find out if there were any accidents?

for some reason it's really hard for me to pee when i have a tampon in. it's hard to get the flow going and keep it going, i have to really push. if i don't have a tampon in then it's fine. wtf?

I am just curious if, legally speaking, you can get your infant tattooed... because it seems to me that if you can get your babies ears pierced, or get him circumcised, why not tattooed? And yet, it seems so wrong... so it makes me really wonder if it would be legal to do so.

If piercing is not child abuse, what is?

If circumcision isn't, what is?

I don't need answers to those questions, I want to illustrate my point that I'm not looking for the moral aspect of this, because it's obvious. I read another answer for the same question and all people said was "Why would you want to do that? That's sick!" "No, you shouldn't!" and the like. THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANT TO KNOW.

IS IT LEGAL?
