Are you going to miss...?
Mother's cookies filed for bankruptcy today... I find it a little sad, considering I remember growing up eating their products. The pink and white cookies with the sprinkles on them are so tasty! Anyone else out there going to miss any of their products?

2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoGum lines deteriorating?
The gum lines on the bottom row, near my front teeth is really receding away. On one tooth, I can feel the bottom of it, which is how bad it's going away. I know I need to see a dentist eventually, but right now I cannot afford it. Are there any store bought products I can use to help with gum sensitivity? Any suggestions what to do (besides see the dentist)? Thank you.
4 AnswersDental1 decade agoWhat gives someone the right to ask if someone is pregnant?
Especially if it's not an obvious thing. It doens't really matter if it is a man or woman asking, I just think it's plain rude. Even if someone were pregnant, it's there business to tell someone if they wanted to, not for people to assume. I'm not claiming myself to be fat, however, I'm not thin either. I'm right at that comfortable state. I don't have a flat stomach, no, but in no way can it be mistaken for a pregnant belly. Why do people think that it's okay to ask someone, just because they have somewhat of a stomach, that they are pregnant? What's going through their mind? I think that could quite possibly be the biggest insult to a woman. I had someone ask me this today, and I was okay at first, because he gave off the vibe that maybe he thought I had told him I was, but when I shook my head no, he gasped at me and said "You must be putting on weight!" Considering I've only known him for a few weeks or so, where is he to say something like that? What are your opinions on this?
9 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoPeople at work you cannot stand?
I just started a new job not more than 4 weeks ago, and since the first day, there is one person I just cannot stand! She has her moments where I think that she may actually be human, but all of the rest of the time she is just so cocky and rude, not to mention OVERLY SARCASTIC. What can you really do? I don't like to be the one to complain about a person to higher management, and It's way too soon to transfer or ask anything close to. I have a really hard time keeping my mouth shut after so much, but at the same time I can't be rude to people. I know I'm at the job for the money, but It's hard to stick with it when someone (or the job itself) is making you miserable. What do you do in this situation?
10 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoMetro PCS and Cricket wireless.?
My boyfriend and I are looking for a plan that offers unlimited calling and texting at a very affordable rate. We don't care what the phones look like, or if we get good service outside of our state. I live in Las Vegas, and I was wondering if anyone is with these providers and can tell me about the service experience they have had? I know Cricket's coverage area for our state is really crappy (at least their map shows that it is.) But I want to hear from other people before I try one of the two providers. Thanks in advance for any help!
