How long does the public beta for xbox live last for?

My internet is fine on my laptop and iphone but between 6-9 pm each day about 1-3 times my xbox live just randomely disconects for no reason, my modem is from eircom, is there any way of stopping my xbox live from disconecting, btw im wired

a liverpool fan slageed me about norwich when i laughed about oldham beating liverpool and said we lost to them in the fa cup so dosen't matter because its not the premier league
