I had a coolant leak during the summer, So i used some coolant leak sealer.All I can assume it has settled in the heater matrix. The coolant leak turned out to be the water pump which has been replaced weeks ago.

Honda accord abs with fluid resevoir (this is seperate to the master cylinder on the braking system) having open the bleed screw the fluid ejected went beyond the front of the car and full of air bubbles. I have been informed that the pressure of the fluid ejected could mean accumilator fault. But my thoughts are the pressure release may by due to the air lock.So what kit is required to pressure bleed the system. and what is the correct procedure

posed this question some time ago the abs light on my honda accord comes on after driving 1 mile.I have replaced the rear nearside wheel sensor , as advised by the dealer. I have looked inside the abs COMPUTER for cracked or dry solder joints all appears well, there are no cracks on the abs hub.

Honda accord (uk) Ive changed all abs sensors to each road wheel. Ive done a resistance check to each sensor. At 20k ohms on the front sensors I have got 0.88 off side front, 0.86 near side front.

0.64 for both rear sensors.I have also exchanged the abs pump relay from another identical honda that has no problem with abs. I have jacked up each side of the car with the engine running, and the front wheels were driven by the engine. The rear wheels rotated by hand the light DID NOT come on.But when the car is on the road being driven the abs light comes on after about 1 mile. Any suggestions please

? engine type F20Z1 2 litre accord is there a hexagon tool that goes into the recess on the bottom pulley. that will prevent the crankshaft turning,whilst undoing the bolt that holds the bottom pulley in place.Or is there another way to lock up the engine, with automatic transmission.

I have checked the selector cable position and the condition of the selector cable and by selecting reverse and the reversing lights come on. Any other suggestions that a home mechanic can do before taking the car to a garage for
