He was a tough dude when he went in. Him and his friends used to jump people for NO reason. They made their own gang. I've seen him slap girls around. He used to always beat me up and I play baseball. He went to prison because some big dude pissed him off and my brother lit his house on fire at night. He's small but tough and crazy.

But after he got out of prison, he got really quiet. When he does talk it's not like a gangsta any more. He gets so mad when people make prison/rape jokes. He even cries because he gets so mad. The worst part is he cries himself to sleep. His room is next to mine so I hear it. He flinches if you move too fast or walk up behind him. He spends all of his spare time getting drunk and emotional telling me to stay out of prison.

I know he didn't get raped because he's not gay. He was lifting weights when he went in and he was a rock solid 150lbs. so nobody could really mess with him.

He used to LOVE rap music. Now he gets angry when he hears it. He turned super racist. It's confusing because you would have thought he was a black guy on the phone before he went in. He sagged his pants, but now he dresses real normal.

Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to make him act normal again?

I tried to delete the icon on the desk top, that did nothing. I know zero about computers. My computer has the Windows emblem on it, but I use Explorer to be online.

My step-son went to see his dad every weekend. One weekend, the boy was struck a few times in public by his father (10 at the time, 11 now). The police called my wife (his mom), we went down the the scene. The police said 2 officers witnessed and 3 civilians witnessed as well.

That was 6/30/13, in about 2 or 3 weeks the criminal end of the court is finally going down, as the father wants a trial. My step-son has been subpoenaed to testify, and my wife is completely against it.

This boy is particularly "soft", emotionally, as it is. And being in a spot to get his dad in or out of trouble most likely will cause him to lie. It will be a VERY traumatic experience for him after what happened.

A side note, the father moved from Minnesota to Nevada not too long after this went down. So the boy never sees his dad as is.

So my question is, does the boy HAVE to get up on the stand? Or is there a way we can avoid it and not even have him get up to plea the 5th?

Anyone out there know something about the HTC Inspire 4G? I bought an "unlocked" phone from Amazon, and while it takes my T-Mobile SIM card, the option to install software from unknown sources is disabled. I found that is fixed by updating the Android OS, but I cannot do the "check for updates" because I'm not an AT&T customer, and this phone is sponsored by AT&T . And for some reason I cannot connect to a computer (yes, I tried 2 different computers, one running XP, the other running Win7 pro) using the HTC sync manager..Please folks... king of nerds is stumped, and needs help, or at least words of encouragement.
