  • Can you help me find this one quote?

I will know it once I see it. It's basically about the speaker wishing people have the ability to get all the things they want and see for themselves that it was never really important (or something like that)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Do you think anime can emotionally heal?

I just realized this now and am still finding out why I like anime in a deeper sense so I'm sorry if this sounds crazy to you. I've watched anime for long that I don't remember when I even started watching it. I was also addicted to computer at that time. I know it's a bit unhealthy but I think it was the only way for me to cover myself from being influenced by the unhealthy environment around me. I don't know how to explain it yet but I think the child me had instinctively known that there was something wrong within my family. And that I instinctively didn't want to be influenced by their mindset and turned my attention to something else. I could say this now because after my mom and I migrated to US, I felt overwhelmed. Most adults I have encountered were in tune with their emotions and I was surprised that most (I think?) parents did not hit their children when they're behaving badly. So, I think it's safe to say that anime had helped me be in tune with my emotions. It also helped me be open minded. Oh wow, my brain is about to explode hahaha. It's hard for me to find the right words to express the things I still want to say so I'm going to stop right here.

Sorry if this seemed really vague. It's just that family life is complicated and it would take a lot of time for me to explain it precisely.

  • Am I the only one who noticed this about the otome game Nameless: One Thing You Must Recall?

While the plot was really awesomely organized and while I really liked that I wouldn't bore the heck out of myself by choosing another guy and going through the game again because each of them has different stories, I feel like the romance was a bit lacking. Yes, the main character was there for them when they needed help the most, but I really just couldn't feel the romance much that I ended up forcing myself to get excited when they're kissing or holding hands or something.

I'm a feelings person and it bothered me to not be able to feel the couple's love with each other.

I don't know, I just felt like the whole game is 'formulated' if you get what I mean.

Sorry, I just didn't know where to write this. And I wanted to know if anybody else thought the same way.

  • What shoujo manga is this?

I think it's about three childhood friends, they got separated and I think reconciled during high school. (Two boys, one girl) All of them do karate (or something of the sort) and the girl, I as far as I can remember, likes to save female students from people bullies

  • Adventure anime everyone?

I just finished watching Akatsuki no Yona and it sparked my interest for watching adventure anime again. Can anyone please give me adventure anime where the main character meets people one by one to help her/him achieve his/her goal?

I have watched: Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, Hunter x Hunter and am trying to watch One Piece.

  • I want to ask if you can feel the chemistry between my characters.?

Melody put Solar's hand around her waist. She turned to face him, "like this?" She wrapped her arms around Solar's neck and pull him straight to her lips. She slowly moved her lips against his, savouring every seconed with him. Melody heard him groan and she smiled as she pressed his head even closer. She bit his lower lip to tease him more. She doesn't know why but she finds his flustered face cute. He could only make that face when she's with him.

"Melody..." he almost said in a whisper.

"Why?" she continued nibbling his lip.

    "Stop..."

She touched his face, "are you sure?"

Solar opened his eyes and she stared at his groggy eyes. "are you sure?" she repeated. His eyes put her deeper under his spell. She leaned in to kiss him more, but his arms stopped her.

She looked at one of his hands on her shoulder, "you need to stop this right now." His voice sounded so serious that she didn't find any word to reply back.

Why did he stop her? Did he not like it?

She stared at him as he started walking away. They were starting all over again. When both of them were running away from each other.

She won't let that happen again

    Melody ran towards his direction.

She grabbed his arm when he's within reach. Solar stared at her in frustration and she stared right back until she caught her breath.

  • I feel like I'm charming people whenever I make eye-contact. Help?

Okay, this will be very weird. Whenever I talk to someone and make eye-contact I feel like I'm seducing them (or more like charming them). I don't know how to say this, but I can feel that they're being hypnotized by my eyes (I'm not saying I have beautiful eyes, it's just that.... AHH! It's hard to explain!). I haven't really put much thought into this until now, but do people feel uncomfortable about this after the conversation is over?

Other people actually see this as flirting and I have no other way to stop this besides not making any eye contact at all. I'm actually a girl and society doesn't let it slip as easily as the guys.

  • Romance anime with natural flow like The World is Still Beautiful?

Does even anyone relate to what I'm saying? Can somebody please give animes that doesn't feel forced at all? Most animes I've watched feel like the author's controlling the characters to do what he wanted and it's driving me insane how other people want it (no offense). Anyways, I'm looking for romance animes with the MC's personality being natural. It could be any genre except horror. It could even be fantasy or adventure etc etc. Thank you very much

  • Can someone give me anime with even a little bit of mystery or MC trying to achieve something? (Art needs to be good or at least decent)?

I just found out that I particularly like animes with characters trying to look for/achieve something in the first episode. It's pretty much like any sports anime but it doesn't have to be one. It can be something like Haikyuu! or something like Nisekoi or Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. Especially that. I don't like animes all about fanservice and stuff. I want animes with developing characters.
