We've been friends since we were about 13 or 14 (we're 36 now) and we've always kept in touch with each other. The messages he's been sending me lately elude to something other than friendship like quoting Rhianna's "Umbrella" song and offering to give me all the stars in the sky if he could... What the heck is his problem???

I was casually dating this guy, nothing seriously physical, who's 10 yrs older than me.Went to a cookout at his house, met his 23 yr old son, ended up bringing him home with me for the weekend.The guy knows where his son was, who he was with, and probably what we were doing. I have no regrets about the choice I made but should I feel even just a little bad for the older guy?

i got my tubes tied while in a very bad marriage that i never thought i'd make it out of alive and i didnt want to bring another child into that setting. now i'm out of the relationship and with a man i've loved for many years. i dont want my tubes untied but we're talking about alternative fertilization options... anyone have any idea how much it costs or what types of risks are involved? what are the options? we know about the procedure for removing eggs and sperm then replanting the fertilized egg but is there anything else that we could look in to? any help would be appreciated.

I want to add a 25' x 30' addition on the back of my house for a couple more bedrooms and a living room overlooking the lake. Does anyone have any idea where I would start or how much it would cost?

Do I need to get their father's "ok" to do this? We were married when they were born and they have his last name. He named my youngest and I've never cared for the name so I'm changing not only his last name but his first name as well - since there was no specification of custody in our divorce do I legally need him to say its alright to change their names if he no longer has any part of their lives?

I always thought I did until just recently... now I realize that I've spent my whole life trying to be what everyone thought I should be and I've been miserable - now, having reached a serious conclusion, I can honestly say I havent ever been this content with my situation and feel like I'm actually starting to LIVE...

All because I gave up caring what other people thought about me... I was just wondering if this was the wrong approach to things...

With todays technology (DNA testing, advances in biological investigation, etc.) it would be possible to identify who, exactly, is in the tomb of the unknown soldier - shouldnt it be? BUT, do we really want to know? Its a cultural standard to have this poor, unknown person in this tomb to signify the atrocities of war but, on the flip side, there's also a family out there who's still missing their loved one...

Would you opt for finding out who's there or not?
