Alright, so I know how to apply eyeliner just fine whether it be pencil, gel, liquid, etc.... My problem is that whenever I put eyeliner on the bottom inside lashline, it tends to migrate toward my tear duct area within a few hours, which makes the eyeliner look not so good. Is this normal? Am I using the wrong type of eyeliner? Am I using too much eyeliner? Is it just because it kind of touches the inside of your eye so it gets wet and slides off? My questions seem endless, lol. If you know the reason for this and know how to make that not happen please help! Your answers are much appreciated.

I have fair skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes. I like to wear purple eyeshadow because it brings out green eyes, but I don't want my eyeshadow and dress to be too matchy. I want my eyes to stand out, but I'm not sure which colors would complement both them and my dress. I would really appreciate some advice.
