I'm 23 years old, and live in Iowa. I donate blood on a regular basis to LifeServe Blood Center. I also help out in other ways in my community, when I can. I am a big believer in helping people, and would like to someday find a career that lets me do just that.

  • What kind of spider is this?

    http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/306628_10...

The past couple of weeks, I've noticed a lot of spider activity in my house. I mainly see them running around on my ceiling. I've never seen this species of spider before, and I just want to make sure it isn't a species of spider I should be worried about. Once in a while, I do see other spiders, but I've already been able to identify them as harmless.

I've already tried to find out what kind of spiders I'm dealing with, by comparing my spider picture with Google pictures, and I found one that sort of matches, but I still can't positively identify it. I won’t say what kind of spider I "think" it is because I don't want to influence anyone’s answer. If there is anyone who can help, I will appreciate it very much!

  • Can future employers find previous jobs I've had?

I've been filling job applications out, and under work history, I don't list like three past jobs, because I only worked for those jobs like 2-3 days before deciding I didn't like them. I don't want to list them because I don't want future employers thinking I'm going to quit on them in just a few days. I was a dumb teenager when I jumped job from job. Now that I'm older, I know the importance of keeping a job. I really don't have huge gaps. I don't know what they can find in background checks. Some people say they can find previous employment, even if you don't list it on the application, others say they can only find out about jobs you listed. Does anyone know? I know I don't have to list all employment on a resume, I'm asking only about applications. I will award best answer to someone who seems to actually know, instead of guessing. Thank you!

  • Is my relationship worth it?

I've been going out with my current girlfriend for 4 months now. I've never met anyone like her. She is very caring, kind, funny, and smart. I love these qualities, and I really do love her. Of course, there is a quality that I do dislike about her. She has a very short temper, and pouts about everything I do.

She eventually comes around, and apologizes for acting the way she does, but to be honest, I'm tired of how constant she throws her tantrums. It's really stressing me out. I'm on medicine for depression, and I really don't need added stress.

I'm not sure what to do. I know ultimately, it's my decision, not yours, but if anyone has any suggestions, advice, or comments, I'd appreciate hearing what you have to say. I really do love her, and there are more good qualities then bad ones, but this one bad one is really getting to me. =(
