First off I'm not looking to have someone charged or anything like that. I'm just trying to figure out if this is going on in my certain situation.

so what I understand about it is if it's true it's not slander, if it's false it is, although I suppose it could depend on the situation and that is why I'm asking.

I own property in another country that has a HOA, and the president of this HOA decided to realease the names of everyone who hadn't paid their recent bills. Now this guy is honestly just a straight up jackass on other stuff, so the way I look at it is he did this solely to ridicule other people and make them out to look like bad guys.

Now I haven't paid the bill because I never received a bill. This guy isn't even in charge of collecting fees so he doesn't have all the information and he's going around telling people I don't pay my bills.

Like I said it's not like I'm looking to have anyone charged, and he's claiming its not slander/defamation because its true that I didn't pay them. Like I said though, hard to pay something when you haven't gotten a bill and don't know how much you owe or that there even was a bill. so I would just like to kind of throw it back in his face and scare him a little that I could charge him with something (even if its not slander/defamation).

Or is this totally legal for him to do? To me it just seems like the person in charge of the billing didn't send it out to anyone they didn't like simply so this guy could embarrass them.

Ok so I got the godaddy quickblog because all I know is html and css. I don't know how to do the programming for the blog. I obviously want to customize this with my own html and css however I can't figure out how.

When I go into the file manager there is now a subfolder named 'blog' but there is nothing in it. However when I go to blog.myblog.com it takes me to the blog I created with the customize, however I could do a way better job if I could get into the code itself.

Any suggestions? Even a website explaining it would help out, i searched google myself but came up with nothing.

I cant remember what I'm supposed to do before I can actually add the clips. The problem is i drag them to the timeline but they won't seem to play. I remember the last time I used this program after I imported the videos I had to do something before I could begin dropping the clips on the timeline. I've tried looking on google but I'm in a rush and not thinking straight so if anyone could help me out that would be awesome. Thanks.

Ok so I have Adobe After Effects. What I want to do is be able to do something similar to a news broadcast or sports show with title bars at the bottom. I havn't really seen tutorials for stuff like this so if someone could point me in the right direction or tell me what it might be called so I can look myself. Or even if you know of a better program to use for something simple like this as It's not like i need to make people look like their on fire or anything like that.

I have a Motorola Starchoice HDTV Receiver. I don't have DVR on it but when I go into options I have the option of DVR list, but it's grayed out.

I was wondering, can I just buy the part I need for the DVR, or is there someway to just hook up an external hardrive? I noticed theres a usb port on the back of the receiver. Or am I just going to have to get a new receiver if I want the DVR?

I'm making a website and until or if we ever do make our own videos I'm curious if I can just embed youtube videos for now? Mostly it would be news clips or whole news programs on the certain topics of our site.

Can I just use them or do I actually need to get permission? I always see youtube videos embedded on websites but I don't know if their getting permission or not. Especially since the news clip may not have actually been uploaded by the News Show. Or even homemade videos, I'm under the impression if it's on youtube its public and free to use but I don't understand the legal mumbo jumbo in the Terms of Service so I just want to make sure this is ok to do.

It recently came to my attention that an old employer has been saying some untrue stuff about me to other places of business in my line of work. Such things as I would never show up (which I always did, plus I would come in on days off, canceling my personal plans many times, when he was in a jam), and telling them that I wasn't all there in the head. Which I am :P

I found this out because I was told about a job by a friend, I said I wasn't necessarily interested until I found out more information about what the job entitled. She told her boss I may be phoning or coming in to talk to him and he told her about this stuff my old employer told him. Thankfully she told him it was Bullshit and I was a joy to work with so I could probably get the job if I want it in the end.

However this could be a future issue as well because I have no idea who else he has been slandering my name to. I want to know if it is even worth it to charge someone with slander though? Or if there would be any point to it as the damage can't be undone?

Keep in mind that this business never asked him about me, he just told them these lies and theres a good possibility he has told many others as well as the business requires working with much larger companies in the same field.

I have no idea why he would be saying this stuff other than he's pissed I quit on him to work for the competition because I was only getting 9 hours of work a week at a job that was originally supposed to be full time, and 80% of the time when I was at work he never had any work for me to do.

the cartoon was about a kid whose pet monster ran away. This kid loves monsters and always tries to help them, the rest of the town hates the monsters and the guys best friend is scarred silly of them even though he helps him out all the time.

This used to air maybe 1-3 years ago on either ytv or family, i'm leaning towards ytv, it may also have been teletoon but im like 1% sure on that.

Is there a tv show site similar to Flixster's movie rating site? I suppose sidereel would be close but I'm looking for something more similar to flixster, only for televsion shows.

Ive been trying to remember this show I watched when I was younger, I honestly cant remember the time period, but I was born in 87 so I'm assuming it came out after that.

It was about this group who jumped through these wormhole type things and get thrown to other worlds. I thought it might be stargate so I started watching it and its not the show I was thinking of, the wormholes would appear out of no where and there would be a time limit on them. The group of people kept jumping through them to try and get back to their home world.

I'll try and think of other things I remember but that's about it for now.

I have a guy who wants me to redo his website but the guy who originally made it won't release the passwords and user names, etc. all the guy has is the email info this guy set up for him. I did a who is check and got this maybe someone on here can tell me if there's anything that can be done. I blocked out personal info. Even if there is someway this guy can delete the site and somehow buy it again, although i think the guy who built it bought it for him.

the 'clientDeleteProhibited' makes me think there's nothing that can be done?

I'm wondering because this is happening to me right now. Obviously I'm going to phone the dentist when they open, it's pretty early here yet so I'd appreciate it if you kept those 'go to the dentist' comments to yourself.

I just want to know if its normal or possible for this to happen. I got them pulled Dec 1, swelling went down a a week and a half after. So it's been about a month since there was any swelling.

Is there any other way to make a drop down menu besides the spry menu bar? It's honestly pissing me off and i don't have the time to deal with it. Anything you can tell me or direct me to would be great.

Only problem I'm really having in explorer is the horizontal menu drops down then all the links just run horizontal instead of droping vertical one by one. Works fine in everything but IE. I'm using dreamweaver cs4, i read there was a problem in cs3 with the spry menu but that it was sposed to have been frixed.

Any help at all would be appreciated whether its telling me how to fix the spry or just a completely different way to make the menu bar.

so i decided to do a massive clean up on my friends list, i don't want ppl on there i don't talk to or see. as far as i'm concerned they don't need to know about my life just because i went to school with them or they met me once, especially when i never talk to or see them.

Anyway i've run into a few ppl that facebook just won't seem to let me delete when i try it just takes me to the home page, and it's only a few ppl, ive tried refreshing, turning off the browser completely and restarting it. Nothing seems to get rid of these few ppl.

Has this happened to anyone else before and if so what did you do about it?

Any site that uses the DivX player that has all or most of the episodes. I don't want a flash player so please don't give me sites like youtube or megavideo, etc.

Or even if someone knows where I can locate a torrent of the entire show I havn't been able to find that anywhere either.

I've had a Samsung Omnia for about 2-3 months now, the wall plug in stopped working after about 2-3 weeks, I live in a town and havn't had time to go in the city to get them to replace it so I've been charging it with the usb.

The phone died 100% completely and now it won't charge because it seems to only charge through usb when it's turned on. Is there anything I can do to get the phone to charge?

It's been about 2 days which I've left plugged into the usb because I read somewhere else that it will still charge with a dead battery it just takes some time with the usb option but it hasn't done anything. Is there maybe a safe way of charging the battery manually with some type of jolt? I don't really care if I wreck it because I have special warranty no questions asked.

Which brings me to a second question if anyone might know the answer. I'm with Bell Mobility up in Canada, since I do have warranty on it and they said they will replace it no matter what do I have to get the same phone? Cause charging aside this is honestly the biggest piece of crap phone I've ever used.

So I just watched this movie and I have a quick question since I never watched the cartoon or anything else that is out there. Snake Eyes, hes a little asian fair skinned boy and then as an adult he's just super black looking, at least from the bottom half of his face that you can see. Is that supposed to be some kind of cloth mask, is there a reason behind it or is it just a randomness that the movie creators didn't really care about?

The name is on the tip of my tongue so if someone says it I'll know it.

All I can really remember about it is that it was based off a book and in the beginning of the movie this guy is transported and ends up in this land with little tiny miniature people about a inch big and they take him down to the ground and tie him up.
