  • How can I get my history to show in IE?

I know how to access my history, but when I do my history doesn't show any websites that I've been to. It only shows things I've accessed locally (files saved on my computer). Does anyone know how to fix this? I've been searching for an answer but haven't found one yet.

I do not have the "delete browsing history on exit" checkbox checked in my internet options.

I also have the browsing history checked for the auto complete settings.

I've also tried running IE without addons, so I know that isn't the issue.

and I've reset IE's settings to default. none of those methods worked.

My virus protector is Microsoft security essentials and I haven't seen anything in the settings for it that would allow it to remove my history, so I don't think that's where the problem is either. I'm not sure where to go next. does anyone else know what the problem is and how to solve it?

    I'm running IE 9.0.8112.16421

on 64 bit Windows 7 home premium

  • Speaker noise problem?

i'm having a serious issue with speaker whine in my system lately. I'm not really sure what to try next so I'm hoping someone out there has some suggesstions. the speakers make noise when the engine is off. the gains are properly set. If i turn them all the way down, then the hiss is mostly gone, but so is the music so that's not it. If the RCAs are plugged into the amp, but unplugged from the headunit, then the noise is still there. If I unplug the RCAs from the amp, the noise is gone. If I unplug the speaker wire from the amp, the noise is gone as well. I'm really not sure if this is a ground loop, a bad amp, or a bad headunit. the RCAs and power wire are not running down the same side of the car. any ideas on how I can get rid of the hiss?

  • Speaker wiring question?

I have a 4 channel amp and I'm looking to wire 3 speakers to 2 channels.

I know there are several ways to do this, I'm just curious about one of them.

What i want to know is how I can calculate the final impedance on the amp if i were to wire it like so.

lets say all 3 speakers are 4 ohms. speaker 1 and speaker 2 are wired to channel one and channel 2 of the amp. so each channel is running at 4 ohms.

Now for the hard part. If i wired a 3rd speaker which is also 4 ohms to this by wiring the Positive of the speaker to the positive of Channel 1 and i wire the negative of the speaker to the negative of channel 2.

What is my final ohm load. and better yet how is this determined? Is this like wiring all three speakers in parallel to the amp and bridging the 2 channels? or what?

currently I have 2 4 ohm speakers wired in parallel down to 2 ohms. and then a 2 ohm speaker wired in series with those 2 speakers for a 4 ohm load. and I have the 2 channels bridged. I'm looking to replace the speakers though and I'm curious about this method.

  • why are my wire wheels losing air pressure?

I just got some wire wheels for my car about a month ago, and they were holding air just fine while I was driving it around the city. But once I took my car on the interstate, my tires went flat. So after taking it to a local wheel shop and getting them re sealed, they are holding air again, but they continue to lose pressure at interstate speeds quickly. This is baffling me. why would they hold air when the car is just sitting there, or moving slowly, but deflate rapidly when on the interstate (and by rapidly I mean completely flat after about 10 miles)? any body have any ideas or suggestions?
