  • how long does it take for HCG to decrease to 5-0?

I had a miscarriage 3.5weeks ago at 6weeks and on the day of the miscarriage my hcg was >7000 and 3days later it dropped to 400 but I had a blood test yesterday (3wks from last blood test) and my hcg was at 9. I was wondering I long it would take for it to go down to 0.

  • Am I ovulating or pregnant?

Hey guys. I need some help because iam very confused about my results. I have PCOS and have been on Metformin for a while because my drs told me I wasn't ovulating. This cycle was suppose to be mostly for my body to get used to the drug and to figure out the duration of my cycle. However, I started having this cramping feeling in my pelvic area and sore breast over week ago. I thought maybe it is time for my period..which never came and the symptoms didn't go away. So this morning I took a pregnancy test along with an ovulation test (out of habit) my ovulation test came back positive (I took 4 test all of which was positive) and my pregnancy test had a faint line (I took 2). So am I pregnant or ovulating?

  • Medical or first aid Question.?

I cut the tip of my left hand middle finger 24hrs ago with a scalpel

It is a clean cut roughly 1cm long

I just changed my bandages and the wound is still bleeding the same way it was bleeding yesterday.

Do I need to see a nurse or doctor? Or should I wait a couple more days for the bleeding to stop.

With the pressure of the plaster I’m not bleeding through the bandage, only when I open it.

  • Is it worth applying for a Mensa membership?

I recently got my IQ tested along with my husband by a professional. Our results were 150 and 138 on the stanford binet scale. Is it worth applying for a Mensa membership, despite having stable jobs and adequate qualifications?

  • Could I still be ovulating if I have not been having my period for 8months?

I was diagnosed with PCOs about a year ago. I normally had 3 periods per yr however in the begining my periods would not stop.I would have my period for months at a time. my periods went to the other extreme when the doctors tried to fix it. now that iam married I had been on estrogen birth-control pills which gave me period each month (fake cycles) however due to extreme side effects my doctor took me off the pill and now i use a progesterone pill (mini pill) I haven't had my period ever since. I husband and I have now decided to start planning a baby. but iam worried I might not even be ovulating. Is is possible to ovulate without having periods?
