I have a few skills to fall back on along with a good coupling of common sense mixed with drib, drabs of physics and quantum mechanics. I'm not stupid, not exceptionally bright. A 22 year old male basing his answers on his views and explanations of the world around him which have suited his liking and mentality and helped keep him alive in the past as a general all-round survival technique to life. Some prefer to live life but sometimes life does not throw you this opportunity and through hard work, experience and doing things the bloody hard way you will often succeed.

  • Partner has recently observed odd behaviour in my dog?

Being a dog lover I feel I already know the answer to this question, but feel I would like it confirmed...

When I (me personally, not my partner or her boy) leave the house my little 2 year old staffie girl apparently becomes almost agitated although it's not persistent and when told to will go to her bed and stay there for a decent length of time. Since we got her my dog has always waited by the window (hence why we kept her bed to start) whenever we've left the house and she of course will do the same when I leave the house. We attributed this to a mild case of separation anxiety that didn't really bother the dog and I am now wondering whether this 'agitation' is an extension of this or whether I should be looking for a new cause?

  • Why do you need to heat the microchips of a PS3/Xbox to fix a RROD/YLOD?

Out of curiosity, because I've done this fix myself a good few times I was wondering why you need to heat the processors of an Xbox or PS3 when the thermal paste needs replacing?

My first inkling is that it's to mimic the running conditions of the chips themselves but I wish to know the true in fact answer.

  • 18 month old staffie destroying things?

Through-out her life with us from six months old my Staffordshire bull terrier has been a beast with destroy objects usually of little value or use but it is rapidly becoming an issue and the techniques me and my partner have tried to make this behaviour stop has not worked.

She is not fussy about what the object is and sometimes the object will have a food relation to the dog but these are plastic bowls, the handles of cutlery then she has also torn apart my partner's slippers twice. There is also a definite love of destroying zips and button on clothes.

She has plenty of toys ranging from rope knots, rope tug toys and solid rubberballs so this is not the issue.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop the behavior?

  • How would the world...?

...As a whole decide which country would populate the most of mars (presuming that interstellar travel is within our means.). Would this brand new world be claimed in.. the name of X country here, or would it be similar to a economic boom (once again presuming we have the technology to survive on mars) where each new piece is claimed by the flag that hits it first and could a private person claim the entire planet by travelling to each six poles.

  • BF3 Below radar missing...?

I have had BF3 quite a while. 400 odd hours to last check. I unlocked my below radar years ago but never used it, never having any problems with other fighters beyond a few people I know, but after an update (one of those updates you don't pay attention to on the PS3) my below radar option has gone completely. I am unable to equip my plane with below radar. It is on no menu yet on the battlelog.battlefield.co.uk website I have clearly unlocked below radar. Any suggestions?

  • Can I fit this to my Dell Dimensions 2100?

I was wondering whether I can actually install this type of configuration into my computer despite I being a stock Dell Dimensions and is this product much better than the current stock configuration of my computer or would I be better off with going for something more expensive.

I intend to use the computer for gaming and will be buying a decent video card once I've uprgraded the motherboard and processor. If anyone knows of any better deals/products even if a little more expensive please drop a link into the answer. THANKS

  • Can I install a new processor and motherboard on my OEM Dell Dimensions 2100?

Hey im looking to replace the stock dell 2.4ghz processor and motherboard in my OEM PC and was wondering whether this would make windows think it was no longer the same computer or whether nothing would change and i would simply have to install the parts?

If windows will no longer recognise my comp after the upgrades could someone tell me how i'd go about fixing that because windows needs a product key (or would i have to buy a new CD and product key?) because i dont want to lose windows as i prefer it to linux, etc, etc, etc.
