    This is probably really obvious ... but I'm not very up on computer talk ... but what does < or > mean when used in a sentence?

  • What to do when someone you care about says they never want contact with you ever again?

    My best friend passed away last year and I made a promise to look out for his girlfriend always, make sure she was okay and be her friend.

    We were friends even before he died and were a good support network to each other afterwards then we started fighting. There's been so many times she has cut me off and wouldn't talk to me for weeks or months and the most recent she said that she does not want anymore contact with me or his family ever again. This has been the longest time and it's really upsetting me.

    It has cut deep because I always been there for her, helped when she needed it and tried to be a good friend.

    I admit I haven't taken my friend's death very well and have probably acted clingy - but really miss this person as well as my friend who died. Does anyone have any advice on if there's anything I can do except give her time and hope and pray that she will realise that I am a good person who has only ever wanted to be her friend?
