  • How do you get your wife to lose weight.?

I love my wife. Let me say that first. But she has put on 40 to 50 lbs since we got together 3 years ago. She wasn't slim then, but now I just can't really find myself attracted to her. I want to be, I really do. I want to help encourage her to exrecise, but she is so sensitive about her wieght and she has a history of depression. She doesn't take critisim well at all. So I have been trying to motivate her by getting her to join me when I go out to exercise. She would rather just sit on the couch. Any suggestions on how to get her motivated without crushing her feelings?

  • How is the IRS verifiying the New Home Owners Tax Credit?

We bought our house in March of 2008. We really need that tax credit but missed it by a Month. Is the IRS checking or requiring documentation? I mean, we aren't trying to steal anything since it has to be paid back, but this money would really help us. We are close to going belly up and losing everything. Any thoughts on how bad an idea it would be to take this credit?

  • Setteling a car accident claim?

So I was in an accident on Friday, I was stopped behind a truck at a red light and a pick up truck just ran into me at 30 mph. My car is crushed, I got out, no broken anything, but pain everywhere. The driver that hit me, told the cop, she just wasn't paying attention. Any idea on what that kind of case might be worth? Or how long it might take to settle?

  • Does Bill Cosby have any notable academics that back up his ideas?

I am very impressed with Bill Cosby's candor and approach to the socioeconomic problems of African Americans. I was wondering if anyone knows of other notable academics who may align philosophically with him? Thank you.
