I'm stuck on this question:

e^cosx sin x dx.

It says use the substitution u = cos x but I dont know how to apply this!! I also have limits on the intergral, but i assume I just do that normally after the intergration?

Solve the equation: 4sin 2x + 3 cos 2x = 2

I'm confused by the 2x bits otherwise I could do it!!

Please help me by pointing me in the right direction!!

(Don't bother posting answers saying do your own homework, I have tried, I cant answer this one question so am asking for help!!)

I tried to solve this by using the fact cosec x is 1/sin x

therefore 1/sin x - sin = 2

The brining two to the otherside and multiplying through by sin x

getting 1-sin (squared) x -2.

I got stuck from here on!!
