  • What's wrong with Yahoo? Thinking of changing to Google!?

    I have been really loyal to Yahoo. I really have. I nearly never use Google, but I am thinking of changing!

    Here are the statistics:

    Over the last 100 days I have accessed Yahoo (seems to make no difference which part of Yahoo) 1287 times. 217 of those times (17%) I have received the message that Yahoo cannot be found. Each time that happened, I went to Google.com and have never received the message (this rules out my connection)

    My question is why is it so difficult for Yahoo the maintain its service and why does google seem to have no such problem?

    I really perfer Yahoo. What would you do?

    P,.S. If you work for Yahoo, please identify yourself. I want to know if this message is getting through to someone who might be able to do something about this problem.

  • Advise on web application for a new Business?

    I want to start a web based financial business. Users will have accounts that can transfer funds in and out. My question is what do I need to learn in order to facillitate this. I have a good deal of programming experience (fortran, basic, clipper, Dbase, xBase etc) but I have no experience with anything web based. I don't want to waste time going down educational dead ends, what do you advise?
