ive know this guy for 2 years

we dated for 2 months but split due to not being able to see eachother

we still liked eachother though

now he is gone for the summer

and he is i guess playing me and this other girl

she is his girlfriend yet he calls me. and says he loves me and misses me and blah blah

today he said "i love you" to her..it really hurt/pissed me off

i cant just walk away from him even though i know i should

i dont know i just need help!!

what can i do?..should i walk away or wait until he comes back to deal with it?

he was diagnoses with cancer. So anyways., He asked me out i said yes of course cuz i really liked him. It was 8months later and i started noticing he was pushing me away. I could tell the cancer was getting worse.

like the week he passed that monday we hung out everything was fine. and we talked about hanging out on thursday. So thursday comes around and i call him and he said he can;t he is going to a movie with his dad. ok that's cool so i asked about friday he said maybe he has to think about it. Friday comes and i didn't hear from him i kept calling and texting.That's when i finally called his dad and his dad told me he is really bad. I got to his house at like 11 at night and he was really bad about 5 hours later he was gone..

I want to know why he was pushing me away.

just by how it sounds is it because he didn't want me to get hurt

or because he didn't love me anymore

help please..
