  • Where the **** is my refund?!?

So the "Where's My Refund" site and hotline says that my refund was deposited in my account yesterday (the 19th), well i still dont see anything in my account. I called my bank (Chase) and they have no records of the transaction or a deposit.

I did my taxes through TurboTax. Never had any problems before. They take their deduction out of my return so im wondering if this is why there is a holdup. The bank representative says i should check with IRS - they may have put in my bank account number wrong??! WTF? Well everything is automated when you call those damn numbers!! I need to speak with a real person.

Has anyone else had or is having this problem with the funds not being in your account as the "Where's My Refund" claims??! I want my money.

  • Child Care Tax Credit ?

My mom took care of my daughter (care provider) while I worked in 2007 and I paid her in cash for the care. The amount was about 1,500 to 2,000. It is my understanding that I am eligible for the child care credit, and everything looks fine so far. I have plugged in all of the information, including her SSN. But my mom did not work (outside jobs) last year. She only took care of my daughter while i was at work. She does not expect any W2. How would she go about filing? The IRS must know that this is what she received, right?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • Why wont my hand stop twitching! HelP?

Please only serious answers. Does anyone else get a twitching or a pulsing feeling in the palm of their hand sometimes from time to time? I dont really get it in my right hand, but my left hand is constantly pulsing, you can see the skin in the center of my hand moving.

Maybe im overreacting on this. The pulsating seems to go at the same rate of my radial pulse (in the wrist) Could this be the same artery or vessel that is pulsing in the center of my hand? It feels so creepy and is annoying. Is there supposed to be a pulsing in this area of the hand? Sometimes i can not sleep it pulses so darn hard. I also get this on the bottom of my foot sometimes too, so maybe its just me.

  • Burning sensation in my leg?

Hi, I have a burning sensation on the side of my leg (upper part of thigh, on the side and around my hip area) There is no pain but when i sit down (primarily at work) I get the burning sensation, sometimes running down my leg into the calf. When i move and walk around it goes away.

I saw my doctor on Monday and he examined my leg, twisted it, push it up and down and all that, and when he stretched it, it felt good I must say. No pain at all. He came to the conclustion that this is "Lateral Fascitis". The long band of muscle thats starting at the side of my hip/thigh on down my leg. I was prescribed antiflammatory pills.

Has anyone else heard of this or experience this before? How long does it take to go away. The leg feels mostly inflammed when I am sitting.

    serious answers please?

  • Burning sensation in my leg.. Help?

Hi, I just started having a burning sensation in my right leg. It is at the top of right thigh mostly, on the side, but i also feel like theres a charlie horse in my right buttock begining in the lower part of my back.

There is no pain, but i get the tingly and burning feeling at some points, sometimes going down the leg. Moving around makes me feel a bit better, but sitting in one spot seems to make it burn. Its off and on really.

Could I have a pulled muscle or nerve? Over exertion of the muscle? Sitting to long on sciatic nerve? No back pains or anything, but this burning feeling is horrible.

I did some stretching with my daughter this past friday, and we were acting silly, could this be the onset of my pain??

  • Is it typical for a preschool in NYC to cost $1,700 a month??!?

So im pretty much aware of rates per year, and the ones per month I've never seen at $1,700. I want to enroll my daughter in February when she turns 2 and what the preschool had to offer, I really liked the cirriculum. This makes me wonder if their goal is to keep certain types of people from enrolling or if you can afford it, more power to you and if you cant - keep on truckin'. I will have to settle on another preschool that's way less than this one. Too bad it was in such a convenient spot for both me and my daughter and I liked what they had to offer for her there.

  • Can a lazy eye develop later in life?

I always hear about people being born with it. I have never noticed my dad with a very bad lazy eye like this when I was younger and he didn't wear glasses. Now he's in his early 60s and he wears his glasses and his lazy eye is very visible to the point where I was wondering what happened (I live in another state so I dont see him much). It doesn't seem to bother him at all, so I feel good that hes doing ok.

My mom says that it's caused my the stress he may have had, and im not sure if that was a joke or not.

  • I need advice. What would you do?

My daughter is 1 and 1/2 and we currently live in NYC. My plans for her future schooling are to send her to NC (my hometown) at least by the time she starts pre school and elementary. I work with a corporation and may not be able to make the move with the rest of my family so soon.. I know that if we made the move now I would miss her terribly but at the same time i really want her to go and enjoy the fresh air, a nice backyard and all. I would have to at least go down every weekend to be with her. Im trying to put her best interests ahead of mine and I Need a bit of advice.

I love NYC, but this isn't the type of place i'd want her to grow up in. The public school system here is very very bad also. I will eventually move back to NC, but id like to wait a few years before considering a job transfer.

  • Throbbing/Pulsing on bottom of feet and palm of hands?

Every once in a while, the bottom center of my foot will start pulsing or throbbing really bad. I also get it in the palm of my hand. In both cases they all happen in what feels to be the center areas, like the vein is going through some major drama or something. When it does happen, its really hard for me to stop it and its a big distraction and plain out weird and feels funny! It just sits there pulsing until it decides to stop. Does anyone else get this, or is it just me? What causes this to happen?
