  • My dog had a seizure this morning and I need some insight?

It was def grand mal. Full convulsions, foaming mouth. Almost text book in phases and duration. The vet doesn't seem too concerned. She had a seizure when she was a pup (apparently, I adopted her) so they put her on pheno. Later a vet ruled that it was probably a reaction to the spay anesthesia and that the meds weren't worth the risk to her liver. Then this morning, at about 3 years old, this happens. No idea what could have triggered it--maybe the heartworm pills. For dogs with a low seizure threshold how often should I expect her to have them? And experiences?

  • Did you live on Governors Island? Looking for cultural information.?

I need some information for a film about the island, primarily cultural info. Who performed at the theater? Were there local artists? Musicians? Was living on the island any different than regular life on a military base? Was there a lot of interaction with NYC?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

  • Does anyone have information about the theater (stage) on Governors Island?

There's an abandoned stage on Governors Island and I'm trying to find out who performed there. Did the base have a theater company? Was it for high school kids? Did shows from NYC come to the island?
