  • My friend needs some weight loss advice?

    She is trying to lose weight and really wants to lose between 80-100lbs in a year. I have been working on my own goals but she has a complete different attitude than I do about the process and I hate to put it this way but doesn't put that much effort towards it from what she has told me.

    So basically I told her what has been working for me which is to work out whether it be walking or more than that but at least something more so than the normal day for her and to watch what she puts into her body. I feel like if she is at least doing more than her normal day as far as "working out" she will at least lose some weight but it won't be nearly as significant as what she wants especially in the time period. I invited her to work out with me a few days a week if she wanted but after the first work out she was wiped and didn't want to continue with my work out plan which is fine but she keeps asking for my help and advice. Any advice to help her out or advice on how to kindly tell her to get her bum in gear would be much appreciated. I just don't want to offend her.

  • I really want to try to lose 90 pounds before August 12th?

    I have a wedding to attend that day and a bunch of stuff between now and then that I would like to lose some weight for aside from just being healthier in general which is the ultimate goal. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help me out along the way? I do belong to a gym and already have started to do running and biking. I also have started eating healthier but could use some suggestions to keep on track and anything that would help is appreciated. If I don't get all the way to 90lbs by then that's okay, I just would like to lose a decent amount of weight before that date. Thanks!
