An existing electric power substation of 13.8KV, 5MVA capacity has a nearby cross flow cooling tower with a capacity of about 150 GPM. This cooling tower is about 25meters away from the electric power substation. There is a plan to replace this cooling tower but the available space is now only 6 meters away from the said electric power substation. Is there any provision in NEC or NFPA code setting the minimum distance of a cooling tower to an electric power substation? If the space is the only available place, is there anything that is allowed by code to protect any possible flooding of the substation, or is it totally not allowed?

He has been taking high blood and cholesterol medication for some 5 years already. Recently, he is wondering why he is experiencing mouth dryness, disturbed sleep and 2 -3 times urination at night for the past 2 weeks? What could have caused them?

My friend said that sometimes whenever he is very busy especially when is trying to beat his work deadline he feels that an area at his lower head portion, at the left side, at the back & just about 1 - 2 inches above the uppermost portion of his neck feels very warm to a slight hot. Normally, the overtime rate in many countries during regular days is 150% and during rest days & holidays also 150% but in some countries the overtime rate during rest days and holidays is 200%, sometimes even more depending on the management in order to encourage people to work overtime even if the labor law is fixing it at a lower rate. In case higher overtime rate is already being practiced for a long time, is it still legal to suddenly change to labor law rate just by issuing a memo?

When a person is in the late 40's and if he/she has been taking good care of oneself, he/she may look just like about in late 20's but once he/she reaches late 50's the difference will show that he/she is getting old either through his/her memory or by his/her looks. When I read an engineering or technical manuscript from various published periodicals, sometimes I see high level mathematics like Calculus (differential or integral) or Laplace Transform being injected in the explanation which I find hard to follow, usually boring me and to discontinue reading. What do you think really is the purpose of the author for doing so? Is it not enough to just give the explanation in plain technical language which is easily understandable? Or, is it something of a requirement for an scholarly work? Normally, I skip those mathematics but I wonder how effective it is for others to see at the middle of the paper.
