  • Guardianship & Emancipation (16 y.o. in NY)?

I'm 16 and I live in NY. My parents keep saying they want me out of the house & they want me to leave, and being emotionally abusive and I want to leave. But even though they say they want me out they'll never let me leave the house.

I've heard that I can leave my house at 16 without parental consent, and the cops can't make me come home if I don't want and if I'm staying somewhere safe.

I've also heard that I can switch guardianship in court, and I know that I can get emancipated, but that would be most difficult for me because my parents won't let me get a job or anything.

    Idk what to do.

Links would be helpful as well as personal experience!!

I can't leave my house or use the phone or anything, so idk what to do.

  • My Mollies Won't Breed?

    I have a 20 gallon tank with:

    4 guppies

2 dalmation lyretail mollies (1 male, one female)

    1 placo

    1 cory

My guppies have bred twice sucessfully, but my mollies won't breed. The male tries to breed with the female pretty much every day (PUBLICLY O_o) with no success (even though it looks like he is actually breeding her-she's not resisting). I've checked the nitrate, pH and amonia in the tank, the temperature, everything, but nothing seems to work.

I don't know if she can't have drops or something, but I WANT MOLLIE FRY!!

I have 10 gallon fry tank with @ least 41 guppy fry.

  • Will Mollies Eat Guppy Fry?

I have a 20 gallon tank with 3 guppies (1 female 2 male), a fry guppy in a breeding tank, and 2 plecos. I also have a 10 gallon tank with one dalmation lyretail mollie and a peppered cory.

My female guppy will be having more fry VERY soon, and I want to put her in the breeding net, but not with the fry because I don't want him eaten (he's only about 2 months old or so). I want to move him into my 10 gallon with my mollie but I don't know if the mollie will eat him.

I need to move him soon if I can, I don't want him eaten because he's the only surviving fry from the female's first batch. Is he not big enough to survive if the mollie will eat him?

  • What's Wrong With My Mollie?? (Depressed or Sick?)?

I got 2 dalmation mollies & a spotted corydora catfish today, & I put them in my 10 gallon tank. My tank is new, w/ new filter system, & has been circulating for a couple days & the water is to room temperature.

They were all fine when I was bringing them home, I set their bags in the tank for 15 minutes as not to shock them with the temp. difference, & let them go. My one mollie is perfectly fine & seems happy, as well as my cory. But my other mollie has his/her(?) fins & tail down, & floats around by the filter (they have all stayed near the filter since they arrived in my tank). She doesn't seem sick, just unhappy-her fins & "skin" are beautiful, & she doesn't seem unstable. I fed them flakes & a crushed up shrimp pellet but idk if they ate (I'm assuming so, I didn't watch them).

I don't want my mollie to die, any help would be appreciated!!!

P.S. I also have a 25 gal w/ a pleco, a cory, & guppies w/ babies. They are all healthy, idk what i'm doing wrong!!!

  • What should I do about my relationship? (trust issues)?

The only way I can explain it is by telling a story...

I was in an abusive relationship that no one knew about, and one of my best friends somehow got word of it. He pretty much saved my life from this boy and he & I started dating a few months later. It's been almost 8 months and I've never been happier, he's the best thing that could ever have happened to me.

But I recently heard that my abusive ex moving back to stay again, and to be honest I never actually told him I didn't love him anymore (even though I don't). He sent me a message saying he can't wait to see me and start over. I told him I don't want to talk to him again (which didn't go over well) and I decided it would be a good idea not to tell my boyfriend.

He found out (he always finds out things I don't want him to) and we got in a fight. Now I don't know what to do or say to make everything okay again, he actually left our state to "cool off" and he said he'll be back tonight.

I don't want to lose him, he's my life.

  • Do you think EMO is a lifestyle or just a fashion statement??

I was talking to my cousin about it. I think it's just a fashion statement, a state of mind, a music style. She thinks that once you're emo you're always emo, it's a way of life and emo people are always the way they are, since they were little. I don't know what drugs she's on (lol) but I think she's wrong.
