i just realized the fort hood incident had to do with someone with a Muslim name...do you think it will re-kindle all the stereotypes about Muslims after 9/11?

the "Face veil" is NOT mandatory!isnt it?seriously,i also heard about this lady in oregon who wouldnt take off her face veil when her unniversity told her she either had to take it off or not go to the unniversity....this is humiliating!the full face veil was just something worn during the prophets time!the hijab,on the other hand,IS mandatory....there is nothing in the Quran NOR the sunnah that says women should wear a face veil...

ok...to give you some background knowledge,im a 13 year old 7th grade muslim that live in ringgold,georgia (the middle of nowhere)we're the only muslim family within 10 mile radius,my mosque is pretty far,but we still manage to go every week (not nessesarily friday,they have an arabic sunday school there,which i attend)...anyway,a couple months ago,i asked my mom if i could start wearing a hijab.She turned around and looked at me as if i had asked her if i could go dye my hair pink;she said,"wait until you get ur period"...so i waited,and now,last week...i got my period.when i brought up the hijab thing,my mom was still opposing my plan...is it just because we live in a non-muslim country???why does my mom not want me to wear one?all her friends do,and they lead quite succesful lives as doctors,pediatricians,etc etc...

ok,so my best friend at school promised me that she wouldnt go boy crazy like every other girl at school,(we're in the 7th grade)...she said that because i told her,as a practicing Muslim(alhamdulallah),it is sinful for me to date.so anyway,a couple days ago,she tells me she got a boyfriend;i didnt talk much to her after that...and just today,she tells me she kissed her little boyfriend;i was speachless,i immeadiately hung up on the phone as she was about to explain the "deets"...im starting to get the feeling i shouldnt hang out with her anymore...i think it would be better if i stayed away from that kind of stuff dont you think?

ok,my grandfather who lives in jordan gave me this book all about Islam and stuff,so i was flipping through it,and i saw this part it was titled "some prohibitions in Islam"...and it had things like "cursing,swearing,stealing,etc,etc"..and i came across one that said "treating a hypocrite or wicked person as an honorable one or leader"...i just started laughing because we all know that muslims in the U.S have broken that rule during the Bush administration..lol...im so bored :-/

ok,my mother told me that the swine flu shot is haraam because of course,it contains swine,and of course,it is haraam to have swine injected into our bodies....well,i also heard that they are making every american get the swine flu (H1N1,but we all know its from swine to show how Islam knows these things...lol)....anyway,they will first give it to school children (im in the 7th grade),and make it a requirement to have it to be able to attend school...now,i need to know if the swine flu shot IS haram or not

im in the 7th grade,ok?so i have like 2 gifted classes,and they are making the classes to where its gender based;and our teacher was telling us girls if it was a good idea...of course in my head i was goin,"duh!!!!alhamdulallah,these teachers have come to their senses!"...so we made a pros and cons chart (this is honours language arts) i said that it would be more peaceful and that there would be no disruption and distractions (which goes for a ton of girls in my class who go to class just to flirt ),and that goes for both genders....but all of the other girls worried that there would be no one there to crack stupid jokes or who to flirt with....and im like "EXACTLY!".........no one listens to my opinion....anyway,whats yours ramadanians????

i have short, curly,little elementary school girl like bangs and every one of my friends have staight and to the side bangs..and i want those kind of bangs...can that be possible(if i wait for another three months for my bangs to grow out.lol)
