My MIL wanted to throw me a baby shower....i orignally said no because this is my third baby and i really don't need anyhting. Well as soon as we found out this one is a girl (i have two boys)...she instisted again. I agreed but only on the condition that it was to be a diaper/wipe type party and to ask everyone to limit their gifts to one outfit if they wanted. I just htink it's rude becuase i already have a ton of baby things. Now not only is she going a little overboard but now i know about the date, have to make her a list, and call my friends.....I didin't want that to begin with... what am i supposed to say "hi ________ it's chrissy and were having a baby shower for me becuase i'm greedy" That's how i feel.....am i overreacting? I thought just a daiper party would be nice...everyone brings a package of diapers and we eat some food....now it's turning into a headache. I think i'm more upset that my hubby and MIL told me about it to begin with... any input would be appreciated...

Ok here is my question: When you were pregnant how severe were your braxton hicks (not labor just braxton hicks) how frequent, how long, and at what weeks did they start. I'm 30 weeks and this is my 4th pregnancy. I have been having them quite frequently and they are quite annoying. I even went to L&D the other night where they stopped it with trebutaline. So i guess i'm just wondering who else had them really bad, and constant. Any input is apprecitaed. and FYI i am in constant contact with my OBGYN and they know about my current situation.
