Dominick
My name is Dominick, 23, I am a Colorado Springs native and an avid martial artist. I started out training in Wing Chun in the Springs but have since moved away from the traditional arts and focus on modern combat sports, as I see them being more effective and practical for today. I have trained in MMA at Still Standing Muay Thai in Kingman, AZ. Also Infinite MMA in Loveland, CO and Derby City MMA in Louisville, KY. I coached Jiu Jitsu and Boxing/Kickboxing classes at the Collbran Job Corps center in Collbran, CO. My focus is to train in modern arts being that these are modern days and people don't fight the same way they did when traditional arts were created. My strong points are my Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. I'm a mixed martial artist who follows the JKD philosophy and concepts. I train for both competing and pure self defense. I'm not as experienced as other contributors, but I offer the knowledge I have so far.

Did you guys see this movie and did you think it sucked as much as I did? All these years waiting for a sequel and bam, such a let down.

I would like to know if there are any downloadable programs/softwares (Windows 8 compatible) where you can create your own orchestral scores. Preferably something that has realistic sounds.

1 AnswerSoftware8 years agoNative American looks?
Which tribes do you think looked the coolest or most fierce? Which ones do you think would visually strike the most fear in you if you were a White settler who came upon them in the frontier days?
I think the Pawnee looked badass because of their emphasis on the scalplock/mohawk look

6 AnswersMovies8 years agoAcer Aspire recovery issue?
My mom has an Acer Aspire 5532 laptop but she completely forgot her password so we have no way of signing into it. We figured we'll purchase a recovery disk to reboot the system but after doing a little google searching, I haven't found any good definitive results.
Do any of you know where we could find one? Also do you have to be logged in to the system to use a recovery disk?
3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoIs it hard to learn the french horn?
Dances With Wolves (the director's cut) is my favorite movie of all time and I think the french horns in the theme music are so bold and heroic sounding. It makes the movie even more epic. So much so that it's inspired me to want to take up learning the french horn.
Is it hard to learn though? One day I strive to be able to play those french horn parts from the theme music.
1 AnswerPerforming Arts8 years agoFacebook messaging privacy?
I want to change my settings so that only people on my friends list can message me but I don't see any option like that in the privacy stuff. I know you can do that because lots of people have it set up like that.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
1 AnswerFacebook8 years agoQQ registration problem?
I have an account on there and my friend wanted to make one too but he kept getting every nickname we put in denied. And we put some extremely unique nicknames.
Has anyone else had issues registering on QQ lately? Or for those who know more about it, are there like certain guidelines for the nickname you use? Seriously, we tried maybe over 50 different nicknames and they were all denied.

4 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups8 years agoOne word replies in a conversation?
When you're trying to have a wholesome yet constructive conversation with someone yet all they do is reply with "oh" or "cool" or "ok" or "yup". Does that irritate you as much as it does for me?
I either:
A. End up ignoring them
B. Wish I could choke them
C. Tell them to not talk to me til they have something interesting to say
D. Decide to troll them since they wasted my time

3 AnswersMartial Arts8 years agoMaking my own cracker sandwiches?
Like most people from my generation, I'm 23 right now, I grew up eating Lunchables. I prefer the bologna and cheese one. I eat like an adult now but everyone once in awhile I like to indulge in stuff from my childhood. I thought it would be cool to make my own bologna and cheese cracker sandwiches for a snack so I did that using ritz crackers, kraft american slices, and basic oscar mayer bologna. It just couldn't compare to the Lunchables though. The cheese was too thin and didn't taste right for it and same with the bologna.
My question is what would be the best choices for the cheese and bologna that resembles the Lunchables.
I'm doing this so I can have a larger amount when I snack on them since obviously I'm an adult now. The standard from a Lunchables is about 6 sandwiches which, for an adult, is not much.
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years agoTop contributors of martial arts?
Maybe not all of you are able to answer this question at this time, but I ask a general question to sum up your thoughts on martial arts. What are they? What are your thoughts on traditional vs modern mixed? What are they on striking vs grappling? What are they on Chinese vs Thai vs Japanese vs Korean vs Western? What are they on full contact vs touch sparring vs no sparring? I'm not trying to create beef, I just want y'alls to sum up your philosophies and beliefs on here.
10 AnswersMartial Arts8 years agoIn your opinion, what races have the most beautiful people?
This isn't meant to be racist in any way. Everybody's got their own views and opinions on beauty.
For me I say:
Filipino/as
Puerto Ricans
Japanese
Thai
Italian
8 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoDo you feel the mastery of cooking and martial arts are related?
A lot of times you'll see Japanese masters who have a restaurant and talk about how martial arts help their cooking or their cooking helps their martial arts. Of course both are art forms but how do you feel they're actually related?
