I recently built a small shading structure out of western red cedar, about 11 feet by 8 feet by 5 feet high. It is in a small field where there are sprinklers nearby, so the structure is almost daily exposed to moisture changes, as it gets wet in the morning and dries in the sun thereafter. Lately, I have noticed some cracks along the faces of some of my 2x4's that you wouldn't even be able to see when the wood is wet in the morning, but are clearly visible in the afternoon when it begins to dry. My question is, should I be concerned about the structural integrity of the thing? Or is this a natural progression that may continue to occur, but shouldn't be an issue? If it is the former, can you offer any suggestions about what to do to counteract the problem, now that the structure is already together?

I've decided I'm going vegan for literally just a week to see what it'd be like, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what I should eat, as in typical breakfasts, on-the-go lunches, and dinners. I'm about to go shopping and I know there's a ton of random things (like bread made with egg) that you'd think are ok to eat that aren't and I was hoping someone could help me out with stuff like that. We recently had a linksys wireless router with which we connected to the internet in-home. When we bought it about 2 years ago, it worked perfectly. Over the past two years, however, we've had a lot of problems. The main one is that it seems as though any time somebody opens a door to leave the house, the connection gets dropped and you have to wait about a minute for it to reestablish. To fix this, we recently bought a netgear router. At first, it worked perfectly, but now again, when people open doors to outside, it drops the connection. Does anyone have any idea why this would be?

For like 8 hours now, my game in words with friends has said my word is "sending" with the usual little black box in the screen center. It won't let me do anything else. Has anyone else had this problem and knows what to do?

How do I make my iPhone alert me when I receive a new email without having to open up mail first? Like I want it to make a sound or buzz or whatever when it's just sitting in my pocket not doing anything.

For example, if I say I like the Airborne Toxic Event, I want it to tell me when new albums or singles are coming out, when concert dates are announced, and a bunch of related bands. Does anyone know of anything like this?

I'm looking for an app that gives you news and recommendations based on what you list as your favorite artists. For example, if I say that I like Coldplay, I'd want it to let me know when they're on tour, and maybe tell me other artists that someone who likes that band would like. I don't really remember too many more lyrics...but there's one part that goes "you lie next to my body, you've been here before" or something very close to that...I looked at Hollister's website and the playlist comes up AND it's on there, but for whatever reason they don't tell you the name of the song playing!
