I have just given a piano concert in which I performed the Bach Prelude no. 1, Bach's invention no.1, Chopin Mazurka op 67 no. 4, Chopin's nocturne in C minor (posthumous), the first two of Satie's Gymnopedies, and the Rachmaninoff Prelude in G minor.

I was wondering what other pieces you folks could suggest.

I love Rachmaninoff and was thinking of trying some Liszt.

Any suggestions?

My friend has created a minecraft server. We are fairly sure we did it right but I connot join it.

I am looking at his screen, and he is conected while when I try to conect it says "can't reach server"

Both of us have hamachi up and have the minecraft server .exe up. I have typed in the ip right and the server name.

I have recently completed learning Chopin Nocturne in C monor and Eric Satie's Gymnopedie no 1. I am now working on some chopin preludes and on Bartok.

I really want to perform a complete piano sonata for a concert this upcoming summer and I wondered what would be a good choice. I was thinking the Chopin no.2 in B flat.

Thoughts?

It has replaced dampers and felt. I looked up the serial number and it is from the years 1925-1930.

It is in good condition other than the keys are yellowish

I recently acquired a baby grand piano with a bench filled with my great-grandfather's sheet music. In it is included a copy of an adaption of Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody no 2. It has been adapted into c minor out of c sharp.

My question is will learning the easy version (should be about a week), hurt my ability to learn the actual piece?

Today I acquired a Howard Cincinnati baby grand piano from about 1925. It is going to be tuned, but I noticed today that almost all the dampers on the left side of the piano are worn totally down so as to no lounger work. I was wondering about fixing the dampers, the price, and whether I would have to take it somewhere or if they could be replaced at my home. I got the piano for free from

Which do you consider more impressive, being able to play the most difficult songs for piano (Liszt Reminisces de Don Juan, Liszt Transcendental Etudes, Rachmaninoff piano concertos) or the most difficult guitar songs (I'm not to sure but Dragonforce Through the Fire and Flames, Eruption by Van Halen, Hysteria by Muse)?

In Essence, is most difficult guitar or piano most impressive in your opinion, and why?

I want to know which of his pieces to present to my class, who are not classical music buffs. I was thinking Hungarian Rhapsody no 2 (of coarse) La Campenella, Dante suite Inferno, and Mazeppa aka transcendental etude no 4.
