I'm writing a story about an all-girl band that forms in the early 2000s, grew up listening to all that 90s rock stuff and are selecting covers to play for their shows. What are some good suggestions for rock songs around that time? Also open to classic rock stuff as well, but more modern stuff would be preferred.

Okay basically I bought some equipment in December 2014 (I'm self-employed). The job was in January 2015, which means I would write off the equipment for next year's expenses rather than this year's. But because it was bought during a previous year, I'm not sure if this is possible. Is it?

Okay I'm writing a script that takes place in 2003 (beginning of the Iraq War) and I'm wondering what the deal is regarding women in the U.S. Army, specifically for basic training. Do men and women train in the same unit, share the same drill instructor, or are they separated completely? If so, what is some loophole I can make up to get a girl in the same unit as the guys.

I have made a song list, putting it in alphabetical order by artist, but a lot of artists begin with "The" in front of the name ("The Beatles", "The Commodores", etc.) How do I keep the name the same but have the artists' names in alphabetical order? ("The Beatles" should come before "Cream")

I'm writing a script about a U.S. Army unit which consists of three guys and a girl, it takes place in Iraq in 2003. I'm not sure if Female soldiers are allowed in infantry units. If not, in what case can a team of four (including a female) patrol the streets of Iraq on foot?

I'm trying to get the full story of women in the army and what they do in basic training. Are there separate Basic Training units for women and men or do they share the same units? I imagine they maintain separate sleeping quarters? Has anything changed since the Iraq war?
