I had to ask this question! I keep reading in Y! A responses from illegal alien sympathizers how these people work for nothing. I live in a border state and 9-10 (minimum) bucks an hour is the going rate for unskilled labor. $15+ for skilled. I'm concerned that allot of people who have strong opinions on this issue are from area's of the country that don't have many illegals or they are spreading misinformation. Most illegals are honest and very hard working and yes, quite a few speak English. The issue to me is the ILLEGALITY and what we do to prevent it from getting worse. I live in a city where it is estimated that 10% of the population is here illegally. (Austin, Texas) Maybe some of the Northerners should listen to the people from the border states about solutions. I think we know a little bit more about it.

I believe no war is lost until one side capitulates. (Subquestion: Why would the enemy surrender when they observe our less than glorius statesmen in D.C. quitting every day?) It seems to me that the Democrats on Capital Hill have misinturpreted the will of the people and have let their hatred of George Bush blind them. I truly believe that most poeple still want to win and think there is hope for the situation.

I know of at least three presidential candidate's who have asked relatively stupid questions on Yahoo Answers! They are running for President-shouldn't they be giving us the answers?!?! I think anyone who has to get advice on Yahoo Answers should be banned from running.

Did you like it? The restaurant is located downtown, near City Hall. The owners used to have a place on South Congress. If you haven't eaten there, what new places in the downtown area have you tried that you really liked.
