AKA which item makes the game a ton easier to beat/more fun, and why?

I want to make a circuit that displays up to 99 on 7 digit displays, and increases the count by one ever time a force sensitive resistor is pressed. What is the easiest way to do this?

I had an idea to suspend an egg in the middle of a water bottle with rubber bands for an egg drop competition. I only have a rudimentary understanding of the physics, but I thought the water around the egg would mean the force is equally distributed all over the shell on the initial impact with the ground. Is this idea correct? Please feel free to add anything else that would be good or bad about this design.

I plugged some speakers into my PC and this box keeps popping up asking me to choose settings for my speakers and such. I have tried selecting settings, and the speakers work fine, but this box keeps popping up! Any ideas on what to do?

I don't know what I pressed, and now the whole top area with the URL bar, tabs, etc. vanishes to the top of the screen unless I hold my mouse up there. Why does this happen, and what do I do to reverse it?

I have a build to do soon, and I am having a friend of mine come over and make sure I don't screw up anything big, since this is my first time. I don't want to waste his time, so what components, HD, SSD, power supply etc. will not be sensitive to static or any other easy to make mistake (note: I have done a lot of research) that could destroy the part. I would like to pre install those to make the main build go more quickly.

The question says it all. I have an ASUS P8Z68 and a cooler designed for the older series of CPU sockets (still the i3,5,7 series) Anybody know if the cooler will still fit or not?

I have a Z86 motherboard, and want to take advantage of the SSD caching known as intel smart response technology. I have a 90 GB SSD to use, but smart response only supports a 64 GB SSD at most. Could I create a 60GB partition when I install windows, and use the 30GB portion as the boot drive and the 60 GB portion as the cache?

I bought a Samsung dvd burner on newegg.com without realizing that it was an OEM component.

I am trying to write a sudoku puzzle solver in C++. I want to try to set up an array of locations where each location is assigned a value of 1-9 or unknown, and then write the program to eliminate possible values in each unknown space based on values in other spaces, than assign a value when there is only one option left. How would I go about doing this.

I had always understood that Java was slower than C++ due to the Virtual Machine.

Now my friend tells me that a new version of Java has come out and it is as fast as

C++. Is this true, and do you think Java will start to replace C and C++ as the best

language to write some things in? Please explain.
