I'm 24 and am about ready to go for the written portion of the learner's permit. I know that you need a physical to get your learners permit, but two of my older aunts don't think that I need one until the driving portion of the test.

I was also told by a friend recently when she got her learner's permit that when you're older than 18 you don't need to have those 65 driving hours that teenagers need. That you can take the test anytime that you feel comfortable with driving.

Is there any website that has information for older people to get their permits. That has rules or guidelines.

Right now I only have one semester to go (Spring 2015) and I was wondering if financial aid be transfer to a different community college in Pa if I decided to move out of the county.

Also I was wondering how long would it usually take.

Okay, I have recently been thinking about becoming a foster parent within the next 1 1/2 to 2 years and I wanted to get some more information on the process of becoming a foster parent. If anyone has any experience with going through training in Montgomery County, PA I would really appreciate it.

1) How many home inspections do they do?

2) If you’re single, what is the general limit of children you can foster at one time?

3) How many children for a room?

4) Can you take on siblings group if you’re single?

5) Is the home study done before or after you take the classes?

6) If the foster child(ren) can be placed in a daycare (if their younger than school age) during the day? Since daycares are licensed by the state do they also need to be preapproved by the child's caseworker?

7) How many months does it typically take to get certified as a foster parent?

8) Do you need bedroom furniture in the room before the home study? (Like a crib for example)

9) How many references do you need? Can they be family? Or friends that were once part of the family (After separation)? How many years do you need to know them? Do you just need them to write a letter or meet them in actual person?

10) Do you need to show them you have proof of insurance? Do you need to own your own insurance?

11) Do you and the caseworker select an age range or can you select and age? Does there need to be a certain age limit that the foster children need to be with?

I'm have an appointed tomorrow with a finicial aid councilor and I don't know how to tell them my living arrangement. I'm renting a room off of a family member. I'm paying for my own way. I'm kind of homeless. I'm finically separated from her. Would she have to be put on a list that I'm living with? (She's also going through some finicial stuff right now.)

Also would they consider my moms income, she only on SSI and welfare. (She has to many medical problems that she can't work)

I'm need to get papers stating that I've been in foster care to get Finical aid. I've been in foster care twice and signed out at the age of 18.

I had the papers that I need six months ago around the time that I moved into a different house. I don't live in that county any more and don't have a car so I can't just go up to the court house or wherever to get them.

I've called today and they told me that they would fax them to me they never did. I was so disappointed and frustrated.

I live in Pennsylvania, and the county that I had been in foster care was Northampton. Would they have the records for me if the case was closed in June 25, 2009? Or do I need to contact some other place to get the documents that I need. I ALS need them by Monday or I'm screwed about Finical aid because I would have no way to attend college.

I'm going to a community college on Monday to finish filling the rest of my finically aid forms out. My father died a couple of years ago and I never received a death certificate. I only saw him a couple of times growing up. Can I use an obituary instead of his death certificate? I only know his name, age, and where he lived. I don't have or know his social security number so I can get a copy of his death certificate.

I had dental insurance, but not a lot of coverage. I need a lot of work done to my teeth and I can't afford the cost of the procedures. I have no credit, and I'm currently unemployed but looking for a job. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the work done for free or arrange a payment plan around 50-70 dollars a month. I tried to apply for credit care but wasn't accepted since I have no credit.
