  • Amp cuts out when moving around in the seat?

the sub sometimes cuts out when i shift my position in my seat, but then it will come back on if i sit in that position. I do know it's the amp because i had it connected to some 6x9s and it did the same thing. I don't think the amp is shutting off i just think it cuts out when i move around. the amp is grounded to the trunk lock

  • Engine misfires between 2500 and 4000 rpms?

I have a 96 beretta z26 and when i drive my car if i'm easy on it, it drives fine. if i press the throttle down about half way it starts to accelerate and then it starts jerking. if i let off the gas and press it down slightly again it works fine. If i hold the throttle all the way down it will downshift and take off like it's supposed to.Sometimes when i give it gas it will sound like it's starting to rev up but it won't gain any acceleration like it's supposed to then all of a sudden it will take off and accelerate like normal. First gear is fine and it doesn't misfire when it's idling or if i rev it up in park either. I have replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, and the coil packs. I took it to the shop and they said that it was an engine misfire. he plugged in the computer and took the car for a drive and it said it misfired on cylinder one, but right after the code came up he quit driving and went back to the shop. I was wondering if it could be the ecu. The car is driveable but it's irritating me that i can't figure it out

  • Subwoofer cuts out when I open the door?

I have a pioneer deck, a pioneer 760 watt amp, a 12" mtx sub unknown wattage, and a 12" pioneer 800 watts. Whenever I open the door on my car my sub will cut out temporarily but will then come back on about 2 seconds later. I used to have this problem in another vehicle where the sub would cut out sometimes and I was told it was a bad ground. I changed the ground and it fixed the problem. In my new vehicle (a 96 beretta z26) i have the amp grounded to the trunk lock so i would think the ground would be good enough. My subs never cut out when the doors are closed and sometimes they don't cut out when i open the door, but when i go to get out of the car it will cut out randomly and i cannot figure out why it cuts out.
