Me and my girlfriend are considering taking a trip to Scotland in March. We re just looking for some opinions/tips from people that have gone before. Obviously we want to do it as cost effectively as possible. What airline did you fly? Where did you stay? Did you do a lot of sightseeing? Is it possible to take a train to nearby cities/countries rather quickly and cheaply? How s the food? Was the trip expensive? Any help is appreciated! This will be our first trip to Europe.

I heard a song in work today that I wanted to send to a friend but i can't find it anywhere. It was a song about a girl that died, sung by a woman and it was a little more upbeat than most songs like that.

At one part she remarks how the girl's heart couldn't take it

And part of the chorus was something about the world lost one pretty/beautiful girl

I started working at Walgreen's recently and they gave me a "men's" vest to wear (i'm a Shift Lead) but I was just wondering what the difference between the men's and women's vests are?

I recently watched the film adaptation Beautiful Creatures and (surprisingly) loved it. I was hoping to skip the first book and read the sequel Beautiful Darkness. What were the differences between the book and film I should know about before starting Beautiful Darkness?

My iPhone 4 has never been backed up to iCloud. I've been running out to space lately so I tried backing it up but it hasn't been working. I am connected to Wi-Fi, my phone was plugged in, and I tried "Backup Now" with an open screen and also immediately locking it after. Nothing is working. It keeps saying "Backup not complete."

I've deleted all but 4 of my apps. My phone says I have about 25 MB of storage available, and every time I delete an app it only adds about 3 MBs. I read that 50 MBs of storage is recommended to Backup but that would be impossible unless I remove everything I have in my phone.

What can I do to backup this phone?! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've missed all of season 8 of the CBS show How I Met Your Mother and I want to watch it before season 9 airs. I've checked Hulu, Youtube, and the CBS website but I can only find four of the season 8 episodes. Does anyone know of a website where I can watch the full season (I think one more episode has yet to air)? If not, will the season 8 DVD boxset be released before season 9 airs?

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should read next?

I've recently been on this dystopian future kick. It started with Never Let Me Go, which I loved. I've also read Life As We Knew It (mildly enjoyed), The House of the Scorpion (I was a bit disappointed in it), and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (amazing).

I've recently gotten into the Bond franchise. I've only seen 6 of the movies, and I've been watching them WAY out of order, but I've definitely been enjoying them.

I've seen at least one film from each Bond except Sean Connery (I'll be watching Thunderball today, however). So far Timothy Dalton is my favorite, Javier Bardem & Christopher Walken are my favorite villains, Skyfall and The Spy Who Loved Me are my favorite song and films.

My dog is about 5 years old. This morning I noticed a red bump on her stomach, almost like a pimple or blister. It actually "popped" a little bit and had a little watery substance.

Near this bump is a little black mark. It looks like it's dirty but doesn't wash away. She also has less dark spots on her legs.

She's had fleas before so the first thing i did was gave her a bath with her flea shampoo. Could this just be bug bite or should i be worried?

I've recently been introduced to steampunk genre and I'm really enjoying what i've been finding. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion of any steampunk version of classic stories, in novel or film format?

One that was already suggested to me was the novel Android Karenina.

The only Bond movie I've seen is Casino Royale, and I enjoyed that for the most part. I never got around to watching any of the other Bond movies, however. I've heard nothing but great things for Skyfall and I love Sam Mendes and Ralph Fiennes, so I was wondering if it's a movie that's best enjoyed if you're a fan of the franchise? Or could I understand the characters and storyline without having seen any of the others?

My personal favorite is Longtime Companion. I don't think i've ever been so emotionally invested in a movie before.

I've been into Doctor Who for a while now but I really want to go back to the beginning and watch the entire series from the start. From what i've heard the first few doctors' complete seasons either arent complete on DVD or just arent available in the US. Which Doctor is the first to have his complete seasons on DVD? I'd rather start with a new Doctor's begining instead of in the middle of one's incarnation.
