  • Ebay/ Paypal : Not disputed and NO refund?

I recently requested a seller to end their auction early and agreed to pay through paypal. The item that I received is not authentic. I had the capability to prove through the logos and among other things that it was not authentic.

I filed a dispute and paypal did not approve my dispute. I didn't even get a chance to prove my case.

    Why?

  • and to Grandma, thanks for..?

For as long as I could remember I have never got along with my Grandma (Mom's side). She lives with my parents, even until now. She would always try to trick me into believing she was trying to be my friend and use all the things we talked about against me and gotten me in trouble with my Mom. It's like having an older sibling who told on me and watched my every move.

I have never been close to her, and when I almost got to that point she would find a way to get me in trouble.

I am much older now, and will be married this Saturday. During the toast I wanted to thank everyone for doing at least something for me or have inspired me. I cannot think of anything I can say to thank my grandma for.

    any tips or advice?

  • dealing with spoiled children?

My hubby has a neice, who is absolutely spoiled and yet her parents fail to see this. They visit at least once a week.

I personally don't think it's my place to discipline her but I do feel that I can not tolerate being bossed around by a 7 year old.

She never says thank you, gets extremely frustrated when you deny her of her wants, talks to you in a rude manner, and has a nasty habit of snatching things from her little cousins. My husband got fed up with her and flipped his lid by snatching something off her hands when she did not ask permission to use.

How do I deal with her without over stepping my boundaries with her parents?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • waiting to be sent to USAF BMT?

my fiance has been waiting to join the USAF for almost a year. He's signed up for electronics, and has yet to leave yet.

His recruiter says it's taking a long time because the job that my fiance is trying to get isn't available on the "to leave list".

Does anyone know what other factors contribute to when he could leave?

I am due to have our daughter in October, and so it's really important that he leaves ASAP. Will the recruiter be able to have him sent ASAP because of this reason as well?

  • rash like spots on my skin after morning sickness?

    I am 7 weeks pregnant..

I don't have really horrible morning sickness but when I do feel sick and throw up my face develops a rash like thing on my face. It doesn't hurt nor does it itch and it does not cause my face to feel rough.

The best way to describe it is the blood vessels underneath my skin getting too much blood it creates a rash like look to it.

I had it a few days ago, then it went away and now it's bad again..

any idea what it is? or how it could be prevented?

  • telling Mom you're pregnant?

I am 20 years old this year (still fairly young to be pregnant), and very terrified to tell my parents that I'm pregnant. Just because of my upbringing.. no sex before marriage, bachelor's education before babies, and so on..

Also I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years if that means anything..

Any advice or words of encouragement?

  • confused about Estimated Due Date?

When I went into the Clinic last week, the Medical Assistant said I was due in November 4th, and then said I was 4 weeks and 1 day.

Which makes me 5 weeks and 1 day today.. but when I do online due dates they say I'm far more than 5 weeks and 1 day and say I am all ready 6 weeks.

How are the estimated due dates determined? And which is a legitamit estimate?
