My girlfriend was hit in the front by a car while stopped at a red light. The person who hit my girlfriend was making a left turn at an unprotected light and was hit in the intersection by an on comming car. The on comming car fled the scene, but the truning guy stayed. It is obvious that the car turning was at fault, being that the on comming car had the right of way, yet the officer did not assign fault and now my girlfriend has to pay her $500 deductible for sitting still at a stop light. When my girlfriend called the officer to ask questions, the officer was extremely rude, refused to give her supervisors information and hung up on my girlfriend. Is there anything she can do to have the accident reevaluated? The link is a crude drawing of the accident, my girlfriend is car "A" stopped at a traffic light. Car "B" is the car that hit her, and Car "C" hit car "B" and fled the scene.
