  • Limiting an HTML select element's options?

Right I've had a look on the interwebs but can't find anything on this so I've decided to ask here.

I simply want to change the size of the drop down box you get once you click an html select element, or limit to N amount of options to display. I want to keep it to size="1" so that the drop down appears. I've read online and I've found nothing that asks my question exactly and some saying it can't be done, surely someone has thought of a way to get round this?

The reason I want to do this is that I have a select element with a hefty number of options which on notebooks goes over the edge of the screen, hiding the options.

So essentially to recap: I want to make a drop down box only display the first say 3 options and have a scrollbar so it's possible to see the others.

  • Does anyone know the real name to this song?

I'm trying to figure out both the correct name of this song and/or the album/band it is from. My friend had the song on his phone named "Astrid's drinking song" however doing a search on google only showed a few live videos of different bands performing it but no lyrics/information about it leading me to believe that it is not the true name of the track. The lyrics go something like this:

The game of life can be hard for all of us,

just living each day not knowing who to trust,

but I'll teach you this song and you can all sing along,

because tomorrow you might be stabbed, or suffocated, eaten by a whale or even hit by a bu-uuu-uuus

    *tempo speeds up*

So Drink!, drink! drink while you can,

    leave all your troubles behind,

don't be (something) asses and fill up your glasses,

You'll be dead for a very long time

If anyone knows where I can get a clear non live version of this track it would be greatly appreciated.
